Being an admin doesn't necessitate advertising, let alone advertising solely to individuals similar to yourself.I just don't see how giving some retard like flare admin powers is going to help anything lol. He'll end up bringing in more retards like him and turn the place into some skiddy hangout.
Flare's job wouldn't even be to bring in new users. That would be up to a second person or group of persons. Flare's job solely would be forum restructure and spam management, at least per his topic he made.

2pac's point was pretty clear. He doesn't see how making Flare in specific an admin would help anything (and frankly neither do I). It's pretty much just a desperation move by LG anyway.
He's not stating being an admin constitutes advertising, he's saying that's all he believes Flare is going to do in his position of admin. Flare restructuring forums isn't exactly the best idea, but if he wants to manage spam/clean things up or something of the like, then a contemporary role as "Janitor" or forum moderator would be best.
All in all, Flare being Admin would simply entail LG clicking the panic button. Not the most prudent idea.

I've read it and fail to see how anything in the thread makes my point void. Like The Unintelligible said, if he wants to clean up a couple of sub forums and do some advertising, great. Give him a damn broom and janitor title then. All i am saying is lg fucked either way.

>janitor title
Administrator is a required position to do forum restructuring.
When I discussed it with Arti, he mentioned that if that was the circumstance that administrator would be a temporary position just to handle the forum restructuring after which he would just be a moderator.
I don't know how you think forums work, but there is no magic "broom and janitor" button that gives someone an ability to restructure the website.

If you think a forum restructure is a bad idea, you are just making it apparent how little administration knowledge you have.
It is unquestionably a necessary precursor to bringing activity to LG. Unquestionably. There is no question about it. It just is. Deal with it.
Bottom line is no one wants you...admin...
