Your opinion on this: Do you need/ use a computer with every possible job in the world?
In my opinion: Yes. When your a plumber, you use those small like PDA looking things to print up reciepts. When your a tv cable installer, you use the same thing.
When your a accountant, you use a computer. When your gas station, you use a cash register but maybe a computer to keeptrack of sales.
See what I mean? My friends cheating off my computer test didn't really help them.

I had several jobs in which computers wouldn't help in any way.

Many escort services do though.
Computer is not directly need for every job, particularly the ones that don't involve education and being outside. If you want to get any where in terms of a career you need to know how to use a computer.
You need to be able to type up your resume, type papers, make presentations and use email to get a job that doesn't involve a shovel.

Odd jobs are not jobs or a career.
Then please note my post where I pointed out the pursuit of a career not based in physical labor and minimum wage required you to know how to use technology.
You can do manual labor without any education because a trained monkey can do it too.
You can not have a real career without using a computer at some point. You can't get through college without using a computer. You can't get through high school without using a computer. Technology is ingrained into our life style. That's why science degrees are valued so heavily and why a comp. sci. major is basically guaranteed a job somewhere.
Knowledge is power, technology is the current epitome of knowledge and represents a way to have access to an unlimited amount of it.

Any job I have will involve a computer, simply because I know how to adequately use one. Any job can be simplified via computers. Yay knowledge!
