This is Lesson 1 of my Japanese class (I decided to do one out of boredom, and I think it'll be easier for me to learn as well if I re-teach)
Ok. First off, to get by, you will need to learn Hiragana and Katana.
What are the differences?
Hiragana - Main Japanese stream of language
Katana - English translations, usually found outside.
example:
English - Milk
Katakana - Miruku ミルク
NUMBERS 1-10
You will need to know your numbers. Its' easy to pick up from there
1 - Ichi 一
2 - Ni ニ
3 - San 三
4 - Yo 四
5 - Go 五
6 - Roku 六
7 - Shichi 七
8 - Hachi 八
9 - Kuu 九
10 - Juu 十
And now after that, for 11 everything is 10+1.So i t would be ”JuuIchi”。Juu = 10
Ichi = 1
Then it’s just Juuni, Juusan, Juuyo, etc.
VOWELS
a - ah あ
i - ee い
u -oo う
e - eh え
o - oh お

SENTENCE STUCTURE
1. Subject at the beginning of the sentence. (Raivu, my name is)
2. GREETINGS: Most commonly used is "Watashi wa" then "Raivu desu"
**BE CAREFUL WHEN WRITING JAPANESE Because they don't use Spaces.
so it would be "watashiwaRaivudesu"
わたしわRaivuです
*Also Remember to use "Yoroshiku" as a polite way to greet anybody of higher authority
*Finally, to conclude this lesson, never use "Oro" when introducing yourself. It's a very rude term and it'll most likely end you on your ass. it's like saying "Hey. My name is Joe. Want to do something about it, bitch?"
:p but not quite like that.
Just take my word for it, don't use it. ^_^
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Well that concludes this first lesson of Japanese. :p Take notes and start practicing.
And then after hiragana comes the kanji!
Those are always fun.
And question.
How is the difference in 'me' or 'I' used between genders?
Like, boku and watashi or whatever.
You should include the different ways to say no and yes and when to use them in the next lesson.
Your lesson is very interesting, but there are some things I must inquire on, for example: why is it yon for the meaning of four but when you reach fourteen it turns into juushi? wouldn't it go to juuyon?
Try to look at me from a different point of view than you would normally.
