If we marched for our rights and race, you would call us racists.
You're all proud to be black, brown, yellow and orange, and you're not afraid to announce it, But when we announce our white pride, you call us racists.
You rob us, carjack us, and shoot at us... But when a white police officer shoots a black gang member, or beats down a black drug dealer, running from the law and posing a threat to society, you call him a racist.
I am proud, but you call me a racist.
Why is it that only whites can be racist?
There is nothing improper about this...
How come it's always the 'other colors' who pull the race card. A teacher gives an african american student a D on the same assignment a White student receives an A on. The african american student half assed the assignment, as to where the white student planned it out and finished it accordingly, all of a sudden the teacher is a racist for giving the african american student racist.
What about those jackets with obama on it that says BLACK POWER?
What if i wore a jacket with McCain on it and it said White Power?
Id be called a racist, and most likely shot at.
How do you feel about this?

The summary didn't help/:
anyways, one thing I don't like, is when you say like something like not to be racist but what's that black girls name. People automatically get pissed off. But with the people I go to school with, use to anyways, when you point at someone they flip out, so you had no choice but to call someone black or white.Google was here

I still don't get why the hell color and race should freaking matter. There isn't any advantage with being anything. We all die from sickness, We all need the same shit to live so whats the freaking point.

But have you noticed how it's always the mexican and african american people who call everyone else racist?

Why would white people have to march for there rights as a race? Nothing big has happened to you. The Mexicans marched, why? because they were going to be shipped back to Mexico. The blacks marched. Why? because they wanted freedom. No one would call the whites "racists" if they had a legitimate reason to go out and march besides jealousy.
You guys rob us, carjack us, and shoot at us as well so don't act innocent. You think that just because a white officer beating a black person is on the news once or twice you can get angry? Let me tell you something, us Black are portrayed on the news as the bad guy Every Single Day. It's always some shooting, some car jacking, some robbery. All because of the ignorance that has been spread in the black community.
Look, we don't just randomly come home screaming "Blah and blah is racist" So I would probably first think there's more the story and if there's not that child needs to be talked to and explained the seriousness of the offence, but you're acting like it's an everyday problem, it's not. We don't all conspire to bring the whites down. We're not teaching our children to go out and hate the whites.
Yet again you're misinterpeting things, white power is a offensive why? Hmm, what are they called? OH, THE KKK go around screaming white power before disrespecting and some times even killing a black person, for no reason. So we can't be blamed for your people organization of hate and..the first black president is a BIG DEAL. Like I said before it's jealousy, Black people didn't go around wearing those kind of shirts all day until AFTER he was in office, what we can't be proud of the first black president buddy?
- 11 Nov. 2009 06:12pm #11
The problem is he's not even really black.
- 11 Nov. 2009 06:14pm #12
Don't you think the whole WHITE POWER thing is just a group of people jealous and fearful of another race?
- 11 Nov. 2009 06:15pm #13
Alright guys
You guys are all on predjudice. Stfu. Just because SOME whites follow the KKK, doesn't make every white person a black hater. Just lie how the news is "making you out" to look bad, it's legit, they don't make up the fact that it's a black person who robbed you or whatever. They don't stray away from the truth, when the guys white, the news says he's white, when he's black, they say he's black. Get over the skin colour for fuck sakes.

I never said "They make us look bad on the news" I told you that we are in the news everyday for crimes. It's the sterotyping as the problem, it has been proven, that it's harder for us to gets jobs and get into a college all because of how the media portrayed us. Also, we know all white people aren't in the KKK, but because of it's reputation going around screaming white power will have a negative effect. Which brings us back to sterotyping.

Besides, The white count in America is now becoming the MINORITY
- 11 Nov. 2009 06:20pm #17
Alright well thanks for clearing that up for me. I don't know a single black person who has had trouble finding a job or getting into college, maybe it's just the states, and if you live in such a stereotypical environment then I truly feel sorry for you, come live in Canada it's great here.

The states is the must critical because the whole White founders and the whole Slavary deal. sadly many from the south and parts of the north still have that mentality that should have died out centuries ago

I agree 110% with you. thats why i love LG people speak freely here without any fear of being sued or called racist. but i think lots of people believe this but know-one ever says it because it is "politically incorrect"
- 11 Nov. 2009 07:22pm #24
That's another problem, What's considered politically incorrect and not.
- 11 Nov. 2009 07:26pm #25
Oh god, lets not get into politics.
- 11 Nov. 2009 07:29pm #26
White power- kkk
Black power- Kfc
aha
- 11 Nov. 2009 07:31pm #27
- 11 Nov. 2009 09:08pm #28
This guy pretty much summed up my argument.
But H20, there have been cases of reverse discrimination filed by whites against people favoring minorities towards them.
And Skylar, that comment was so retarded and it wasn't the least bit amusing.
But to add something to my point of view, why would you scream out "White Power" in the first place? That's like screaming out, "White Supremacy!" Meaning, "I'm in the KKK and want to kill minorities!" So yeah, that's why you don't scream out "white power". Nowadays, you don't see black people screaming out "black power" anyways...At least, not where I live at. We have done so in the past and not been called racist due to the fact that during the times that these phrases were used, it was times in which the minority groups involved were pushing for their Civil RIghts and better treatment within society...like the Native Americans shouting out "Red Power" during the American Indian Movement. In my personal opinion, it was right to use the slogan "black power" in a way because white people had not been oppressed for an extended period of time...So yeah, just my personal view on this.
- 11 Nov. 2009 11:05pm #29
Well H20 why would you guys want a group for white power? I mean don't whites already have all rights?
Also I've never actually seen a white power group say anything positive about other races >.> . If you can find me a website of a group that does not put down other races in anyway I may change my views >.>

There is a difference. It is built into the culture and economy. The US would not be able to operate without. The White American is favored, everyone else is stacked under that by how much "Whiteness" they've achieved. But its not necessarily a noticeable factor any more, rather it wasn't before Obama. I swear his election has resulted in discrimination against whites by many. Of course you can't say any thing lest they crucify you, be it for political views or to stand up for yourself. I had several really good black friends that dubbed me a racist because I disagreed with Obama's political view and didn't vote for him. I feel that he was elected on the principle as well.

Chinga tu madre! Latino Power!!!
- 12 Nov. 2009 11:34pm #32
You do have a point. People say "African American Pride" "Mexican Pride" ETC.
So what is wrong with white people having white pride? It doesn't make anyone racists or what not...
- 12 Nov. 2009 11:55pm #33
I don't know, maybe it has something to do with your country's history of being racist?

Our country isn't the only one that's had slaves, alex.
Think in depth about more country's.
- 13 Nov. 2009 12:10am #36
This is somewhat true.
In 5th grade..? I went to an ALL BLACK SCHOOL.
Im as white as paper, so i got teased and jumped.
A LOT.
They called me white boy and shit,
and i hated it. But the school im at right now only has like 4 black people.
I'm not racist. I hate it when people call me a racist because i hate it when
black people give into the 'ghetto' trends. (Baggy jeans, rap music, weird slang, ect..)
I mean, they dont have to act like that to be accepted by black people. I'm sure they would be accepted by black's and whites and whoever else. But i fail to see many african americans that dont follow those trends, and thats the only reason i have that little hatred. Its not racism, its just an opinion.
