When we are born our gender is defined socially based on our sex characteristics male and female.
Boys play with action figures and cars, woman play with dolls and jewelry.

This is basically the start of showing our future employment woman are more commonly to be nurses, working at desks, taking care of children.
Men are more likely to be construction workers, engineer's, railroad workers.
This creates an inequality in the work place showing lower percentages for either sex to try and get a job in the field than they want.
For example, men whrk as nurses typically when you grow up in school they say only woman work as nurses. They probably feel many social pressures and find it hard to maintain there masculinity while working as a nurse.

Well I think the whole "im a women and want equal rights" thing is bullshit. Im not saying its 'wrong' for them to to have rights or anything, Its just bullshit. No, and they don't in most democratic societies. In the US they have equal rights, end of story. All inequality is socially created and is the product of all the people in that society.

This is a blanket statement, while often true it is not always the case. Women are paid less for avariety of reasons. The fact they're a woman is not the reason directly. The driving reason for the preference of men over women is that women can get pregnant and in a career situation you get leave for pregnancy. That is a huge loss on the company that employs a pregnant woman. So they get paid less for to make up for the eventuality. Its not nessicarily fair but its also not the worst thing ever. Plus its only like a 35 cent difference.

The media reflects the belifs and desires of society. I also don't think the media is sexist against just women. Its sexist against men as well. It creates impossible images of beauty for both genders.

Gender roles are assigned based on sex. But some of the aspects of the roles are natural. That said not all women, even most, don't turn out the way society would want them to. Case and point, women ar treated like people. Based on our social ideals for women, theyshould all be sex objects and not much else. This is hardly the case.

I think you need to check this statistic out again. More women are attending college than men and they are breaking into all kinds of fields. I know several women that are studying to be engineers and are really amazing at it. I know several men studying to be nurse and they are good at it. The same is true of men.

In the end there are differences in men and women. Both in natural ability and gender role, either is better than the other. Both face crippling and damaging expectations. Both enjoy benefits from the current situation as well though.

Personally I don't think anyone should hit anyone else. Whether you're hitting a male or a female. There are better ways to resolve things. I mean I feel if someone hits you, you should try walking away or giving them a warning, if they keep it up and you can't get away... Hit them back regardless of gender. I feel if you get in a physical fight with someone you should expect a physical reaction back. As far as the draft goes... It wouldn't make very much sense to draft them since women aren't allowed on the front line. Which personally I think is stupid but supposedly has to do with a couple facts:
One would be the fact women tend to make shittier soldiers. They're prone to more injuries than men, especially when it comes to the legs. They also on average can carry less weight.
Reason two is most males tend to have the urge to "protect" females. They're less likely to leave them behind if needed which slows everyone down.
Third would be the fact people are worried about the enemy sexually assaulting the women.
Finally this may be a bit too TMI but women down in the trenches tend to get a lot of nasty vaginal infects because of the lack of hygiene that tends to come with it.

Yes and no. I don't believe there is a possibility of everything being equal because there are just some things that never will be. Like men being able to have babies.

In all honesty I haven't really seen all that much of a pay difference between males and females. I think people should be payed based on how well they work.

I think it should stop with all the unrealistic expectations of both women and men.
Some of these fall under both men and women.:
The media sells women are stupid vindictive manipulative creatures that should be twig like skinny but with breasts the size of mountains and thighs and abs that are carved from stone. They should be virginal but still sex kittens, and should enjoy sex. If not that means they don't love you and are really a whore. In fact there is some weird expectation if you don't fuck a random person who wants you on the street you're some how really just a whore. Men are only after sex and if you're not fucking him enough that means he has every right to cheat. Or that it's all your fault if he does cheat because it just means you weren't fucking him enough. They also should stay in the kitchen and are only useful for making babies. She should be smart but no too smart other wise that means she really a bitch. They shouldn't talk back and they are objects. To be seen but not heard, they should hang onto you and worship you like you're god. Also jewelry and money, women are suppose to be shallow. They need to want jewelry other wise they aren't a women. She will always be after something that doesn't involve love. Women can't love because they are looking for something realistic and only want your money and your seed end of story. They need to be a total contradiction in order to be attractive.

As far as men go it seems like they need to have rock hard abs and be six feet tall. With eyes that you can melt into. They need to be a funny, intelligent, nice, bad ass, who can fight 100 bikers but still has the soul of a gentle kitten. Who rides a motorcycle but works as a children's doctor and works at an animal shelter on weekends. They're suppose to be rich and have millions of dollars just waiting to toss down to buy you things. If they aren't super attractive they aren't worth your time. Men also get some of the sexual pressures and unrealistic expectations caused by media's portrayal of the opposite sex. They learn that if a women loves you she'll do every sexual position in the universe and enjoy it wanting it every day. If not that means she doesn't love you and there is something wrong with you. She's cheating on you if she's not banging your cock every night. Also if she cheats it means it's just her nature women are whores after all it's why you can't trust them! If a man cheat it's never because of emotional reason EVER! It's always for sex. Or if you don't have the world's biggest junk and can't keep your dick diamond hard for four hours straight they're not going to want you. Men are only after sex and nothing else. In fact if they want love in a relationship that means they're pussy beta males. Men shouldn't cry either they have no emotions, but should still cry at the sunset and be sensitive. They need to be a total contradiction in order to be attractive. There are a lot more I could list for both sexes but I'll keep this "short".

I think the real tragedy is people start to believe this what they are looking for and this is how they should be.


I think society is starting slowly to accept that idea that there isn't really a black and white out look on what gender rolls are. Though I can tell there is a lot more debate on gender rolls via the internet.

I don't think that's necessarily true. There are some jobs women just can't do and men don't want. If women want to try that job or men want to break into that field I think it really shouldn't be anyone else's business but their own. On a side note the best nurse I've ever had have been male. They're usually a lot more chill.
