I feel that there is many Illuminati groups around the world. There is the Free-Masons, Druids, the Neo-Republican party, Shawarma enthusiasts, LG. THe proof is all ovre the world. And with the way that the world works, I wouldn't be suprised if there are even more Illuminati that no one has any idea about.

I believe that there may be groups that are close to, and or have adopted the title of illuminati.
However I doubt that they play any role whatsoever in modern society.

The masons are not in the least bit creepy, there are a lot of rumors going on about the Masons but little to any of it is of any truth.. Actually I'm a direct blood decendant to James Otis (James Otis - 1725-1783, Famous for "Taxation without representation is tyranny" ) and Mercy Otis Warren. James was actually a member of the Free Masons, though there is little documentation of it publicly, my family has a lot of information of them and the rest of my ancestors dating back to the early 1500's My Uncle is a historian so I have access to a lot of info on different things, ^^
Heres some wiki stuff if you guys are interested:

Sorry but I find any orginization that is secret in their practices creepy to some extent. not saying it to be mean, but there is a difference between not openly saying what your association does, and essentially refusing to tell. i mean, they have every right to do it, but it seems a bit off. Oh well, to each their own i guess

Ok, there are no super secret clubs ruling the world or with influence over the world. The people that influence the world arethe people with money. Money controls the world, people with large sums of it wield tremendous influence without spending any of it. Take Rupert Murdoch. Do you know this name? If you don't you should. He basically controls the majority of the media in the UK and Australia, both in print and on tv. In the US 1 in 5 people with their tvs on are watching something produced or delivered by his company. He owns FOX and has used FOX News to run other new stations down. He owns tons of important magazines and newspapers. He is one of the few non government run media outlets in China. He meets privately with any politician that is on the rise regularly and has invited several competitors to his private yath for a trio during which they have mysteriously died. It is people like Mr. Murdoch who rule the world not secret organizations. People like this rule our world because they don't share their money or their power.

I think most of the current rumors and hype are due to the Da Vinchi code and Agles and Demon films. I can assure you I know first hand Mansons have no secret practices and whatnot, and I think you are confusing them with the Illuminati, which is rumored to be behind events to bring about a new world order. The Free Masons are nothing of the sort. There is plenty of well documented information on both if you havent researched it already.

Well the masonic temple near me has 0 windows, you cant just walk in and ask what they do, you need to be a member, and get initiated. yeah i know they run some community events in their temple, but they are in no way mason related. there have been multiple deaths involving initiations within the masons within the last decade or 2, one involving a fake shooting gone unfake. again, i am not saying they have any malicious intent, i am only saying they arent the most open organization in the world, which to me is sketchy. and i am not thinking of some NWO group, i dont believe in any of that, i just would like to know what masons do, why they are only allowed to be males ( yes i know a few female divisions popped up but i know they are less accepted). but think about it this way if i had all my friends over, and we covered all the windows and didnt tell anyone what we did every week we met, wouldnt it look odd. for all i know they might be taking drawing classes in there, but i cant just wonder in and ask so i dont know. that is what makes them odd to me.

I think that would have been newsworthy is something like that had actually occured. If they are not related to the masons and their activities are not in some way related to the masons, but are using the masonic lodge then they are not officially part of the Free Mason Organization. Mason Initiations are in no way dangerous. Many (if not all) Masonic lodges and members are open and friendly organizations and welcome newcomers. They also explain what they do to anyone interested in joining the Masonry. Honestly Tako, I think you're making a mountian out of a molehill and taking things way out of context.
I was actually allowed to sit in on some of their meetings (because of my Liniage and because my uncle was a mason. There were memorials of James and Mercy there also which I found very interesting, ^^) and witness an initiation at the Lodge in Osterville MA (Barnstable County) and they were exceptionally nice people and very community minded.
The Womens divisions are treated equally to the Masons and are in fact very accepted among them, especially considering many of the members are wives, daughters, sisters, or cousins, etc (Family to the Mason members) to them. And just because the building itself doesnt have windows (especially if its an old structure) doesnt mean that there is something bad going on.

the thing i mentioned was in the news..... it was old, hence the qualifiers of decade or so. i may be over to one side, but you seem to also be taking what i say as if im saying something much worse. i am not a mason, and am not related to any, so obviously you have more experience than me, so i can't debate it properly, but you also have the bias of that relation. and i never said they were bad or had malicious intent, but since you know what they do, why not enlighten me? like i said i know around here they do some community stuff, and fund raisers, but what else?
- 26 Jul. 2010 07:03pm #14
Event wise, they work with their local charities, allow health centers to use their property to host Blood drives, participate in local holiday festivities and fairs, and host several fundraisers for different things throughout the year.
Organization wise, they meet a once or twice a month to discuss community happenings and discuss voting how to take care of bills, admitting new members, Discussing activities to hold and so on. Nothing hidden or creepy, and I actually have a website for you to look at that explains in full details everything the Free Masons do :
What Goes On At Masonic Meetings?
I think once you see that it may change your viewpoint on it. check out the whole site. Its well informed and provides answers to just about all your questions.
EDIT: Also, what you discribed as far as the creepy stuff and whatnot, you may be talking about what is called Fake Mansonry as discribed here:

I believe that there are Illuminati as I have stated, but i think that the views of Masons are over-estimated. Most of the fear is that they use pseudo-occult styles in their logos (lack of better term) and designs. THat is what is creating unease about the Masons, however Druidism, and a few others cannot be denied.

I believe there is an Illuminati but maybe we are looking at them in a wrong way and getting all our information on them on the media what if they just have different ways of perceiving things and arn't really out to take over the world. I think the Illuminati are just another hype.
