Its as bogus as any other theory that is proposed from anyone. Aztecs, Y2K, meteors, anything else along the same lines that has been spewed out because people can't seem to understand logical approaches to the end of the world. people will cling to this notion of impending doom if it will make them feel better.
And if you research Camping, he also said 1994 would be the end of the world, look how well that went.Last edited by Souleater; 13 Mar. 2011 at 11:32pm.

And this guy magically found it? And the people that have studied the New and Old Testament haven't found it? People who dedicate their lives couldn't decode it, and he claims that because he saw gay pride it means the end of the world? Thats just evangelical driven homophobia.

All I'm doing is saying that its completely idiotic for any person to believe someone who's entire thing is based on hating gays. If homosexuality were the final sign of the end of the world, Saddom and Gomorrah would have been when the world ended.
Lets not forget, he was already wrong once, 1994 he falsely predicted the end of the world. Its becoming obvious that he is just pulling shit out of his ass to try and spark controversy. And lets face it, the end of the world, is a big topic now, and can make any retard with a small following headline news.Voted Hottest Male Member

Gay Pride: Planned by God as a Sign of the End, by Howard Camping
He claims gay pride is one of the final signs of the End of the World. And just like everyone else who "foresees" the end of the world, or has some biblical vision, or a prophecy, and is an evangelical douche, is wrong.

And? Lets say this, if God likes the number 7, why not make it the 7777th? It makes no sense to end the world in a month. Thats fucking stupid. The Rapture takes place once the Anti-Christ has taken over. It even says it in the book of fucking revalations. And unless I've been asleep for 1o years, no anti-christ has risen to power in the place where the great temple once stood.
Last time I checked, there is still a mosque on that spot, no rebuilt Temple of Jerusalem, and no Anti-Christ sitting on a throne of skulls or gold or whatever.Voted Hottest Male Member

The Bible says that only God knows the day that he will come to judge the world.
Also, I've also seen other sites saying that on March 20th, the New Madrid fault is supposed to go kaboom.
Then, FEMA is planning on having a drill on May 11th in case the New Madrid fault went all blam blam again.
Conspiracy Theorists are saying that they're going to use HAARP to set it off, thus the dollar crashes, EU forces
come in to help, and then the whole one world no countries thing takes place. So if this happens....read your Bibles
if you don't already. Not saying I believe any of it, just saying....if it happens. xD (i believe in the Bible, just not in the conspiracy)
@Martin: I don't remember reading a date in the Bible that says exactly when Noah's ark was. Could you link me to a verse?

I believe the world will end in milions, even billions years. That's because of the star's life cycle (the sun) turns into a red giant then boom supernova.

Well,
You will know the end of the day,
When people will kill each other for just a little problem ..
You don't know the date ... we don't know when it will happen ..
Maybe it will happen millions, billions or trillions years later ..
Maybe it will happen this week? This friday maybe? We don't know ..
What you saw, it's just a theory .. the date and such things ...
There are still time to repents ..
And the end of the day, have related with the now war, still on going
Palestine and Israel .."Happiness Always Go From Us Because The Sadness Kill Her"
==================================
*What the fuck are you talking about?

In laments terms- This guy has been wrong several times before, hes looking for attention- and people with i.q. and logic of 3rd graders believe him. They give him the money that he gets- little to nothing; have you seen the south-park about the 911 tragity? Its exactly the crap he is doing here, "2 and 2 make 4- four gets subtracted by three to make 7"
evidence:
"The purpose of this tract is to inform you of the great urgency there now is in the world for each and every person to be reconciled to God. The Bible is the Word of God! Everything the Bible declares has the full authority of God Himself." oh rly? I didn't know!
"TIMING OF IMPORTANT EVENTS IN HISTORY
...
2011 AD—On May 21st, Judgment Day will begin and the rapture (the taking up into heaven of God’s elect people) will occur at the end of the 23-year great tribulation. On October 21st, the world will be destroyed by fire (7000 years from the flood; 13,023 years from creation)." he knows exactly all of this.. out of all the people in the world- he found it?
I could go on, but I don't feel like sorting through all that crap just to show that hes wrong; if you would like more proof just read the page...

I think the bible is a highly unreliable source honestly...its full of exaggerated fairy tales in the mind of an atheist...just saying

I know the world would end anytime soon, but not on December 21, or May 21, or w/e. All I know is that our resources are running out, and that would spell disaster for humanity.
ool:hay, i'm DJ Awper and i'm no noob! have a good day!ool:[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Now, i'm an atheist too- but you cant look at the bible as fairy-tales only, although they do bring total fantasy to life. Its like any other book, it shows a message to be right to others- a god figure just helps people realize (or obey) that.
To sorta stay on topic: People look into the bible too much, they need direction, they try to find stuff which isn't there; so perhaps you cant blame them.
"m0ffle" as in "waffle" or something stupid like that...

All of which is immaterial. People don't look to it for an explanation for what is, people look at it for comfort, and lets face it, people will follow anything and anyone if it provides comfort, but people take every message to be literal, the person and prediction that was foretold was foretold by a homophobic asshole with a secondary agenda, so it has little to do with looking into the bible too much.

In all honesty; Itry my hardest not to get sucked into myth, or prophecies, or any of that shit. But I'll be the first to admit I have spent many sleepless nights in tears because of fear that the world may end. I suppose that's due to the fear of facing death. Knowing that my life is not complete yet having it taken away frightens me to no end. I thought the world was supposed to end on December 21,2012? Damn people make up your mind.
But it was supposedly in the bible?
My religion is unclear, if there is such a judgement day; im unprepared. I don't know what I believe, I don't know what I can believe.
If there is a heaven or hell, I know not. But instead of trying to figure these things out, I just try and live to the best of my abilities.
I think we shouldn't worry to much about the end, as long as there is a today, we should be more focused on that.

Thoughts: it's fear-mongering.
Hey, you guys! The world is totally going to end in a week! No, it's true because I read it in a book!

That is generally the way that people think of and justify their views. I could go outside right now, wrapped in a towel after not shaving for a month, put a barb on my head and predict the total eradication of the world and all life in it, and I promise at least 5 people would follow me. And they would tell 5 people, and they would tell 5 people and they would tell 5 people. And then I would get an interview on CNN about 5 weeks later asking how I came to these thoughts with a statue of me made of bronze on my front lawn with a freshly sacrificed goat on the altar.

There are actually billboards posted around my town advertising this. They say things like
"The bible guarantees it"
and
"Cry mightily unto god."
What`s funny is that we`re not a particularly small or biblical town. I expected better of us, really.
EDIT: Picture of the aforementioned billboard, in case anyone wants to see it.

Only thing I really have to add is, when I was in Philly for a car show with my uncles and dad and stuff, some guy on the corner was yelling about this and my one uncle made fun of him. That guy then proceeded to get on the same elevator as us cause his car was in the same parking garage...My uncle made snide comments and proceeded to get called a devil going to hell because of not reading the bible, or something.
