Went to church with a friend. And I thought I had issues.
I found out that religion is not for me. At least not going to church. What I witnessed was very... psychotic.

Twitching, being "taken over by the holy ghost", speaking in tongues, crazy dancing from strange old men, that one kid who got a boner from "praising".
I listen for the whisper of your sweet insanity.
While I formulate denial of your effect on me.

I got really sick. I knew I didn't belong there. I stuck out like a sore thumb, the preacher guy even noticed me and was trying to get me to smile. Horrible feelings.
I was never taught a religion growing up, so it means very little in my life. I was only able to pull from their sermon things that I already know as common sense.

Hahaha, I would have love to have gone, that would have interesting to see.
At least on some sort of level. Lol I was brought up catholic as a child and church was boring, but my grandparents use to go out to eat every sunday.
I think it was the only reason I could through it, then again if it was that entertaining as a kid I'm sure I would have loved it. lulz.
All hail kitty pig.

I'm not joking either. You could see it clear as day. Pitched tent in the front of the church while singing and dancing. I was holding back laughter.
@Clover- You want to go to a true Southern Pentecostal church. That is the scariest shit ever. It's like people having seizures, then the others beating the fuck out of the ones having seizures. I'm sure if you watch the intro to true blood you see what I'm talking about (note that it's only a lighter version of Pentecostals >_> )

naw dude you probably just went to a weird service D: i know what you mean though when people are all like HALLAUUULLLYAAAHHHH RHEHRBHEBRHEBRHEB and theyre all yelling and like being taken over by the "holy ghost", now those people really are just weird but in a NORMAL church service like i go to we have a church band which i actually played drums for once and they sing a couple songs then the preacher talks and stuff then prays a bit and its over its like an hour and a half its not creepy like the other services with people falling over and like crawling around on their knees screaming rofl.
"I try to contribute hopefully im doing my job. " :0,

You attended a Protestant service. That's what they're like.
Attend an Easter Orthodox service and everyone is silent and the priest won't even face you.
I've sat in on dozens of different faith's masses. You don't know odd or boring till you've sat in a Buddhist temple, usually a house, with seven aging hippies and one Asian monk who tell you the birds and animals they keep their are reincarnated members of their family and then sit for 3 hours reading a book and drinking tea.
Islamic services are interesting, though if your a woman you have to be covered and sit in a separate room and watch the whole thing on a tv.
Honestly, my messing with other religions convinced me to remain catholic. Mass is only and hour and not completely insane.
You want scary? Go sit down and learn the details of the Mormon faith from someone high enough up in it. Jesus and Satan are brother, god is a man from another planet, god has a wife, Mary is their spirit child and god goes down and does her, you wear magic white underwear to keep demons away, you have to give money to learn secret hand shakes you do with god to get into heaven, and if you're good enough you get to be god of your own planet. Its the original Scientology.
