As far as I am concerned, the matter is moot. Heterosexuals can adopt, and put up for adoption, and homosexuals are just going to complain until they are given the same rights as everyone else, but I of course feel that if gays have all of the same rights as straights, then a lot of things can and most likely will go awry.

Alright then.
Heterosexuals can adopt, and put up for adoption, and homosexuals are just going to complain until they are given the same rights as everyone else, but I of course feel that if gays have all of the same rights as straights, then a lot of things can and most likely will go awry.
It is a completely different scenario. The children them selfs may not be gay. Not only this but I've never really seen a gay person being bullied I think you are exaggerating quite a bit.
Some kids will be embarrassed to be around their family because most people hate gay people.
If their parents are gay then they probably will also turn gay.
If they adopt they should be ready for the future of their child if they really care about him/her.Last edited by Defy; 12 Dec. 2010 at 11:10pm.

But he was gay correct? Not his family? So that doesn't really have to do with it.
Tell you what, you know how you're all worried about them being picked on and it's horrible for the child?
Well then anyone with any thing seen as any sort of "abnormality" or "deviating from the norm" should not be allow to have children.
Meaning anyone with curly hair should also not be allowed. As a child I was tease to no end about my hair, kids would even beat me up after school.
So should we now not allow children who have any chance of being teased into a family? Hell no. Honestly if the child can get into a nice loving family verse the shitty state care then those kids have a better shot at life. Children are cruel, they'll tease you for just about anything.
@Coffin: While I agree with the points that I think people should stop breeding and 3/4 of american's are too fucking stupid to raise children. I don't agree with lumping all gays in as lecherous perverts, taking off their shirts, and waving their dicks around. Most gay people I know never went to any of those rallies, in fact I know more straight people who go to those than any gay friends of mine. I believe stereotyping gays into this sort of label that's considered "obscene" is as bad as any other sort of ignorant stereotyping.Last edited by CL0V3R; 13 Dec. 2010 at 05:06am. So if we don't want the children to get picked on, this means we should obviously not allow any overweight couples to adopt. After all, people do get picked on for being overweight. What about social introverts who read books a lot, and don't get out of the house often? They're weird, and get picked on. So they should also be banned from adopting kids. OH and what about parents with really bad acne? Oh goodness... >_>
Like how straight parents only raise straight children?
(much sarcasm in this post)
