It's the exact opposite. Chao items are special incentives for users to achieve, either through constant posting on the forum or through the market place. If you lower the price of items you in turn decrease the value.

Agreed but when there so little lgg there's almost no way to get 2,000 or above just by posting or selling since other users aren't active enough to buy much with lgg.

They will be lowered, but no telling how much. Anyone who buys them now will get a special collector-esque quality that can't be received in the future.
