My computer isn't working well because of this blue screen I keep getting.
I have to reformat my computer but the only available option I have is system restore and even than that fucks up on me. I lost the disc that came with the original computer settings.
So I either need to find something else to fix this or download a new OS.
What are your guy's suggestions?
I'm running on windows 7.

Keep windows 7, have your friend burn the installer to a disk for you. If you can't download and do it yourself.

you choose to partition. Which means like where its going to install it on your hard drive, and how much space to use. So if you want to erase everything, you format that partition. Or if you want to dual boot, you create a second partition. And install another os. Hence more harderive space. Larger partitions. Its like apartments if you think about it.

Installing an os is really easy, only place I could see him messing up is partitions, or drivers.
