Actually he's had that much before. He's just been sued a lot and had some expensive drug habits. His wealth has been going up since the revival last year. Scream has remained on the charts since its release last year and he's doing a new album next year and a Christmas album and a book this year. Sorry, he's pretty much are par with your pop star.
