She means anime that's currently airing, as opposed to completed anime. Such as Kimi ni Todoke, Drrr!, Hanamaru, Ookami Kakushi, etc. I'm actually fine with waiting a week to watch them; though I usually miss them when they're airing on TV (especially the ones airing on TBS, it's like I'm cursed to miss all of the anime airing on that station), due to university work and my love for lazing around Akihabara for hours not doing anything (I swear being in that district is as close to being on crack as I'll ever come), but I guess that's what TV rips are for.
