According to the Firefox website, 3.5 is twice as fast unconditionally. It's probably the upgrade in processor and RAM, but Firefox 3.5 runs very fast on my Windows 7.

Having used Vista and 7 I honestly have to say there isn't a difference. Now I pimped and tweaked Vista and customized the hell out of it using old school interface right out of the box because that's how I approach any OS.

I have a vista at my dads house. Windows 7 on my laptop, and XP on my desktop.
Personally, i prefer 7. It can run more things than vista, its alot cleaner. Uses less memory.(ram) Also love how you can re-arrange the start bar<3 rofl

I ran XP, Then Vista, and now 7. And I have to say that Windows 7 is definitely by far the most amazing OS made by Windows. It's close to XP. Vista though, I look at as down near windows 95/98.
I used Vista for a while and it was constant hounding of messages, nothing working, asking me permission to open EVERYTHING, and I generally believe after my big hellish Vista experience, that vista was built around security. It seemed like it was 80% security, and only 20% doing what I wanted it to do.
(Plus I accidentally deleted the recycling bin on a few occasions. Guess why). It got to the point where I just installed BlackBox on it.
But with 7 I can be A LOT more organized, everything runs faster, I'm not nearly being hounded as much, and I can pretty much customize the entire system 100% to fit my own wants and needs. 7 DOES have it's flaws though, such as a few touches of Mac (which I dispise), but thankfully it's not the uber shitty touches of mac. :p Makes it a little less original, but that doesn't even put a dent in how incredible 7 is.☜(* x *)☞FOOL ON COOL GENERATION

I love my Windows Vista. Why? I've enabled all the features plus some that Windows XP had so it has everything that Windows XP had and everything it did it does. I'll do the same with my Windows 7 but I love my vista. <3

As far as I see it, windows vista runs well on a very powerful computer.
Windows 7 runs well on almost any computer, runs AMAZING on a powerful computer, and has alot more features than vista. So no matter how much you defend it, windows 7 is still better in the fact that it takes less power.LG's resident grammar nazi.

Windows 7 is best of the all..

I've had windows 7 dual booting on my iMac running mac OS snow leopard since September and I find it very soothing stunning graphics, I love the task bar it is very soothing I changed mine red cus the clear one makes me thirsty, I hardly use windows 7. Use my laptop running vista alot to study on my programming and watnot. It's got great graphics and a kickass theme that I absolutely live. I had xpbut my dad gave it away. ht was satisfactory real easy to use and won't make you have a headache when u first open it. It's got a really smoothe theme not sharp like vista. But I like vista more still cus i gotta love the black color and kickass start button. Windows 7 is sorta a fish tank

I'm running windows xp... but only because I haven't upgraded my RAM to get windows 7.

I've always heard bad things about Vista.
But I have it on my computer, and I don't mind it at all.
I don't mind XP either.
The school computers have Windows 7, and I think it's alright...but nothing special.

I have 7, but liked Vista way more.
- 16 Jan. 2010 02:17pm #65
7, nothing wrong with it so far.
Plus a great graphical advantage to XP.
Vista should be taken off. Everyone had a bad experience with it...

XP with a few Vista/7 mods like the sidebar and whatnot. Though I pretty much just use RocketDock and TaskManager and just shut off explorer. Saves me precious RAM on my cruddy, outdated, piece of crap, i-wanna-drop-kick-this-thing-so-i-have-an-excuse-to-get-a-new-one, computer.
