Did you know there are hacking groups that go around hacking FB pages dedicated to kids who have passed away?
That's seriously fucked up and disgusting.
I don't understand hackers these days, what do you gain from doing that?
If I had a way to, I'd beat the shit out of those kind of people.

oh god lol I did this with a group of ~40 people during the Casey Anthony stuff, we made fake pages pretending to be her dead baby, saying stuff like "it's dark in here." and "Im bored" and stuff like that lol.

Lol. These incidents are really uneasy because people on one side might not see the effect of their actions until they find themselves in the position that others might suffer in. :/

It's unfortunate, but it's the Internet. :/

Trolls will be trolls. People shouldn't let it bother them too much, but I agree, those people would be at the hard end of the whoopin' stick.

I also don't see the point in dead people having facebook pages. Nor the point of having one for a dog, a baby or any other thing that cant communicate.
There's ways to grieve but if someone died of natural causes it's best to just let them go. Now if someone was murdered/missing and the investigation is ongoing a Facebook page might help.

It's easy to be an asshole on the internet. Especially when you're in a group and can show off to each other.
Grief really screws up the way people behave and think. Have you ever seen those facebook pages for stillborn babies? Those are messed up beyond belief, but the parents are just so grief stricken and don't want to believe or forget what happened.

Well, everyone has a different sense of humor, no matter how twisted it is, there are always people to fill the niche.
