I stopped a minute and forty seconds in because it felt racist. (and dumb)
I lacked any motivation in listening to it further, the girl in the middle seemed completely biased, stubborn, dim, and just generally... ignorant.

First, Indian is a race and Christianity is a religion.
Second, Christianity is in India and Hindus and Christians worship the same god. Hindus view Jesus as an avatar of Krishna. Christianity view the fact that all Hindu gods are actually an expression of one go and how all is one and one as all as a way of understanding the Trinity.

Actually, Pope John Paul the 2nd and various Hindu spiritual leaders sat down and had a discussion about their faiths. They concluded that Christians and Hindus worship the same god. JP 2 even wrote a letter about it.
They don't share the literal foundations of faith that Jews, Christians, and Muslims do but they have similar values and concepts relating to god and morality.

TIL all Christians are Catholic, and that the actions, decisions, and beliefs of past popes have never negated the actions, decisions, or beliefs of current popes.

This. This is why I hate religion of any sorts. I stopped watching after she said 'but I knew she was on the wrong path', it is not someone elses job to determine whether the path another person is on wrong unless it's destructive to themselves or others around them.

Actually there are only (technically) two religions:
Judaism and the Muslim religion.
Christianity is a branch of Judaism, as it was founded by Yeshus, A JEW. So all sects of Christianity are actually Judaic sects (including Catholicism).Voted Hottest Male Member

Actually during the first centuries of the Common Era (most likely) Christianity and Judaism split into two separate religions and have now been observed as such. There are very specific differences between Christendom, which focused on God's "New Covenant", and Judaism, which focused more on correct conduct according to the Mosaic Covenant that God (supposedly) made with Israel.
Christianity, as we know it, evolved from Judaism, and it IS sometimes debated when exactly the two religions diverged, but it's a pretty accepted fact that by modern day standards they're completely separate religions.
Catholicism and Anglicanism for example are different denominations of Christianity.
I have NO idea where you got Yeshus from, unless you're referring to the reference in the Torah. Or you've mistaken it for Yeshua. Even if you hold the opinion that Christianity was founded by Yeshua, the fact that he was Jewish does NOT make Christianity a branch of Judaism. At the time of the gospels he accepted Mosaic law, but Mosaic law didn't accept him. Even now, Judaism believes Jesus was a false messiah, not the founder of a sect of Judaism.
Another thing, if you are referring to Yeshus as Jesus or Yeshua, he did not found Christianity, he merely gave rise to the revolution that later led to it. He didn't ever actually mention Christianity or the split of it from Judaism.
unless of course u meant yeezus
TLDR; But even disregarding all that, today, Christianity is observed by Judaism and the majority of Christian denominations alike as a separate religion from Judaism.Last edited by Isonyx; 19 Aug. 2013 at 05:09am.
