Do the pros outweigh the cons?

IB: to do or not to do

i did it.
really...
not
worth
shit.
the ib diploma means no more then a regular diploma for most colleges. everyone whos graduated will tell you the same thing. its just a pain in the ass for a title of ib grad.
especially for an art college.
xD
youd have a better experiance in VPA

I was going to do it x) My brother did 3 years of it... Not Worth it. You get a lot more work for each class and in the end you get into the same college as a guy with a 3.5 would get into.
Obviously you will be more prepared, but if you're going for art. I don't see why you would need it x) I'm attending college for Computer Science, never took it

I'm going to go for a university and an art diploma or a bachelor of arts double minor.
Perhapsly.
If all goes according to plan. maybe.
-edit.
I don't actually know what this 'IB' thing is. So I can't really say much, but I'd go ahead to college or something after highschool anyways.
I'm always being told by everyone not to take a year off and it'll be horrid if I did, and then tried to get in a year later.
I want to take a year off though, but I won't.Last edited by Vesparia; 15 May. 2013 at 05:22am.

I have a couple of friends who do IB and they say it's pretty equivalent to just taking AP classes or dual enrolling at a university somewhere. Most of my friends who are no longer in IB say the thing they really miss about it is the people.
Other than that it's really just about credentials and such. Being part of IB isn't really going to get you a job, and isn't necessarily going to get you into a better college compared to someone who just takes a lot of AP classes and such.
If I were you I'd talk to some people who are in IB, the program is different for every school.I don't get tired.

Not worth it I'm also in college for Computer Science. I'm also minoring in Organic Chemistry/Plant and Soil Biology. I'm attending a research institute and I never did IB but I know people that have.
