Do you think any thing of horoscopes/believe in them? Or other occult believes and divinations? They guided hundred in the past and still guide some today. Those who could understand and read the stars were simply some of the most powerful people a few hundred years ago. Astronomer and astrologist were one in the same. Just as alchemist or sooth sayer was also the scientist.
Horoscopes:
Personally even though we don't account for the fact the Earth's axis has wobbled and we're ignoring the 13th sign, I've found that at times mine is oddly specific and correct about me in the moment. I don't really believe and in most cases they are very general, nonspecific things that can apply to anyone but I've seen and had moments with them that made me wonder for a moment.

Yeah. I had a book once hat at the time blew my mind with accurate of detail about me. For instance it said that someone with my sign would often mediate the unique family situation, like those that occur between your grandmother and cousin. My grandmother took my cousin to raise when I was young and I always solved their disputes. That's an interesting dart to throw randomly into the ether. I'm sure that statistically speaking you print that and someone has to meet that exact example but still I was always fascinated.
Tarot cards have always been interesting to me as well. I own a deck and I learned to do readings. Most are very broad and present good news but there are some super specific ones. When readings are bad you have to have a lot of the few "negative cards" and the negative cards when thrown together are really bad. I don't really get how people trust their life to them.

I actually believe in some of them. I've read a few horoscopes which were actually very accurate. :/
Humans yawn when they think of it.

I do not believe in the mainstream horoscopes and the like, but I am generally open to more in-depth ones. I think that even if you don't believe in them, they can still provide you with guiding you toward personal introspective exploration.

By a deck and a book for like $15 and learn to do them yourself. It's fairly entertaining. You'll get a feel for where regular playing cards come from as well. It's funny that people have more or less worried about th same crap for their entire existence on this planet.

I believe in the occult, I just don't fuck with it, and horoscopes can be pretty specific.
I don't get tired.

I read Tarot. Off and on. But currently I'm in an on phase. What deck do you have? I have Shadowscapes and Gilded.
I've actually had pretty good results "trusting my life to them". Either they're magic, or they provide a framework for the subconscious to express itself. Either way, I get valuable insight from them all the time.

Gilded Tarot was my first deck and I think it was good for that. It's used in a lot of beginner Tarot kits. A lot of people though recommend starting with the infamous Rider-Waite deck because it's pretty much the oldest and most traditional deck, rivaled only by the Marseilles deck. It looks it's age though and I didn't like that. I'd say maybe look up a couple of decks, contemplate some of the cards, try to think of what they portray, and then look up the common interpretations here: Individual Tarot Cards If your interpretations jive well with those interpretations it's probably a good deck for you.

I don't really have much faith in anything like that. Though, like Snow-kun, I've read some fairly accurate horoscopes in the past.

The stars, and astrology seem to have an astounding relevancy to daily life.
In the old ages it was considered as one of the main schools of science.
