How is that evidence of a god? The christian bible is so contradicting it's not even funny! "Thou shalt no kill." Then go to Leviticus 20:9 I think and it talks about it's wrong to be homosexual AND TO STONE THAT PERSON TO DEATH. There is a verse that tells you not to judge, but just a fucking few pages over it tells you not to hate people for they do not know what they have done. That is a judgement on that other person. I am personally an atheist and I do not see why you would want to believe in a god. Most kids are Christians because they were born into that religion. Just like I was. But I learned to grow out of it and face reality.

I have never once saw a atheist try to take any type of decoration down without logical reason. If you can have signs that say merry Christmas, we should be able to have signs that say get over it, it's a myth. Look up the policy of separation of church and state.

The issue isn't taking down Christmas decorations, it's taking down government-sanctioned and -endorsed Christmas decorations.
That would be analogous to your county displaying homage to Muhammad and Allah. I can't even fathom how many Christians would shit bricks over that; the hypocrisy is astounding.

I know! Did you hear of when some pastafarians in Texas wanted the court house to have one of there pastafarian xmas trees and they refused? They had thousands or people email them and call them THAT NIGHT! The same way I think we should have "in god we trust" not on our money!

I'm an atheist that lives in Texas.
It's really offensive to me that everyone says "Have a god blessed day" when I buy something from the store or a restaurant.
My family is Catholic and constantly tell me that I'm being too sensitive.

I'm an Agnostic Atheist, probably a belief that has been expressed by other users. I'd like to be superstitious, but even if I was interested in theism, I would not opt to be a Christian because of what I'm considered to be by Abrahamic theists and the hypocrisy that exists today with "true Christians."

I don't know how long you've been an Atheist, so I don't know how much this may apply to you. Eventually you stop caring when people make that expression to you. You should because despite it contradicting your beliefs, most people who say it are genuinely saying it out of kindness and habit. Very rarely if they can pick up on your other beliefs will they try to be derisive and condescending to you. Very rarely. There are nasty people of all shapes, sizes, and beliefs so you shouldn't get hung up on that or let it bother you.

Doing right by myself and my community, feeding my hunger for exploration and wisdom, bettering myself each day;body, mind, and soul, a never ending quest to seek answers in an infinite place;i dedicate my life to these things with a strong and enlightened gaze and a casual stride. i will not kneel to a 'God' that i have never needed. my future isnt in the palm of a holy hand. this road we walk alone, yet somehow we are all one. we are no different, we just think differently

I mean I'm all for pretending we're alone in the universe and that the big bang just happened to exist at all times although it doesn't really make sense scientifically considering our laws of physics say that something cannot just POP into existence.

You will feel the existence of god and the need of god when you are in a total danger or in a situation which nobody can help except a miracle . That is one of the existence of god , we cant see him nor feel him now but we can only believe . The day in the afterlife , you will see him . The world is just a test to see how well did we do , do we believe in him and stuff . If you still cant find prove of the existence of god , find the one who does or seek in youtube for zakir naik . He can explain very well but yet it is still up to you to believe it or not. Your choice .
