I'm also going to take this opportunity to suggest a Science/Technology discussion forum.
Upon reading an article of a Turbine-Engine artificial heart (that works) and a 6 year old Astrophysicist, I thought this would be a good suggestion.
Anywho, I was having one of my Shower thoughts (you know what I'm talking about) and I was thinking about Star Trek
This lead to Space Crafts
This lead to Anti Gravity
And This lead to Gyroscopes (spinning devices that reduce it's weight and mass)
Here are some Examples
This is Eric Laithwaite, a professor at Imperial College in London. He originally presented this idea as a form of "Anti Gravity"
I was thinking, what if we could make a device that
a. Charges
b. Spins when activated
c. Located on a central-point of whatever you'd wear, or drive
The only thing I'm stumped on, is how would we get it to spin infinitely, or at least coast softly if the charge dies?
We don't need cars running out of "gas" and suddenly crashing into the ground from 400 feet in the air.
