Its only ignorant if you assume that god is the how rather than the why and then also if you assume that god is with in the universe rather than apart from it.
You should get your facts straight.
Considering the universe is continually expanding out into a vast nothing makes it infinite. There is a set amount of "stuff", but not set amount of space between that "stuff" and we're still expanding with matter and energy constantly switching state. The reason its infinite stems from the fact that the universe adds up to zero. Mater and energy are the same and there is an equal amount of matter and antimatter in the universe. We amount to nothing.
Dark matter is not nonexistent or on another spectrum, it just doesn't emit or scatter light. It helps explain gravitational anomalies, we're not sure it exists. Large numbers of scientist think we just don't understand gravity yet.
As far as multiverse theories, we don't know they exist either. I think they do and I think black holes link us to ones close to ours and that the big Bang is the result of a bumping of universes. If that's the case that other universe is god. We don't know what our universe looks like from the outside. We could be a small part of a sentient being and never know. Hell there could be a million billion universes in your fingertip and you'd never know.
Yeah, the biblical god isn't real but hat doesn't eliminate god. Still Christianity is on to something with the god is elsewhere and we're here. That's the only way it could have happened. If God were aliens, then they're still god, what makes them misrepresented. They made us and they're god. That's kind of how it works. Though I hope we're not living out the plot of Stargate.
Any way, your argument for the lack of god isn't very compelling since it doesn't really argue against god, just parrots science. Science doesn't try to disprove god. Actually it avoids doing that as all but like five scientist will tell you. The only scientist of consequence that ever said god didn't exist is Stephen Hawkings and he too assumed god would be in the universe and that makes his argument moot to me. I mean if you build a fish tank and put fish in it, are you in the fish tank? Hardly. If that fish tank feeds the fish and cleans itself then you don't have to ever reach in. How would the fish ever know you created the tank and them? Does the fact that liquid mechanics take place and allow the fish to move then disprove you made the tank or put them there.
Even evolution isn't compelling since it too can be the how and not the why. Did god actively manipulate evolution but if god sets up the laws of physics, evolution, ect and then lets it run knowing how it will go how do you disprove that? Put simply, you can't. I can't prove god but don't for a second think you have any thing near to proof there is no god.

If God is all powerful, why can he not control his creations?
If he does not want to, then what proof is there that he is all powerful?
If he is not all powerful, why worship him?
If he is all knowing, why even have an apple tree in his garden?
If he did not know what would happen, why call him omnipotent?
If he did, then he created sin.

I refuse to believe in such an improvable excuse to not fear death.
Without the Bible, there is no proof of any kind of their being a god.

Thank you.
Other than the world and you and the existence of everything this way despite the odds are insanely against it.
The Bible is a book by men. All religion is man made in an attempt to understand ,well, everything.
I've been lead to believe in God without religion to guide me. Science and philosophy have lead me to believe in god. My concept and understanding of God is radically different to the standard fair and I don't think god means you shouldn't fear death. I think you shouldn't fear death cause its not something that will hurt you? death is just a word associated with your body failing. I can pretend to have any idea of if there is an afterlife. Considering that the universe re-uses everything, particularly energy I'd believe somehow you endure. I don't know that the fact your energy goes on to make a star amounts to an afterlife though. I'm a duelist so I believe the mind is separate from the brain so I believe we go on. I think we jump from this universe/dimension to another at death because the body can't constrain the mind any longer. Its sort of like an electron losing a photon an jumping from an excited state to a nominal level. I think that your conception is the energy that pulls you from the normal state in another universe/dimension onto this plane. But that is just personal theory I can't validate it, just what I think based on my other beliefs.

People who do things against a religion never believe in god , because they are too afraid which means that they try to run away with it if they ever were believers.

the only multiverse theories are even considered theories at all is because human science can only prove things with numbers, not set out and do them or show a proof of concept.
As for the "universe still expanding" That means timespace is either increasing, or stretching If more timespace is created automatically by some unwritten law of physics to occupy any and all absences of space (Subvaccume effect on a new level?) Then that would mean, There was an explosion, And we are still being pushed out, But if say, Our timespace is merely being stretched out like an elastic piece of material. Then who is to say that it wont end up sucking back into its center like a deflating balloon? As for antimatter, There is definitely No longer an equal amount, Now there is probably....5% antimatter and 95% matter. Though antimatter itself is still a theory as well.
What you stated is correct about darkmatter, Its essentially a blackbox of gravity, But as I said, People have theorized that in an alternate / mirrored dimension directly against our own, It could be a sign of a heavy object there. Such as a black hole. I dont honestly agree with it, but hey, It is out there in the science world.
~Anyways, I am simply going along with science, all these theories of "God" or "Godlike figures" And their activities, Are same thing written by people doing drugs daily while fucking goats and thinking that they could falloff of the edge of the planet as if it were flat. I dont know WHY anyone would believe nonsense concepts like "God" Other than the fact that it is so absolutely outrageous, That nobody can entirely disprove a gods existence.
The ONLY thing defending a god`s existence, is batshit claims about what a god is capable of and all of this other shit.
When over half of the shit, Was either proved wrong, Proved humans can do it to, or just plain disproven.
All we are waiting on is the ability to create matter from nothing, Then humans will become nothing short of gods. And when this happens. Will people still believe in god?Gaiaonline Exploit Log:

There was an explosion, we call it the Big Bang. Outward from singularity and all that. Also there is an equal amount of antimatter. That's something most of the leading people in the field espoused as a fact because it is supported by the math. Because you can't get something from nothing. For the Big Bang to go off we needed energy. The only theory that gives an answer is multiverse.
We know the universe is expanding. The fact is we know its accelerating and with it with it time as well. I mean we can look out into space and see the beginning of time. We proved the Big Bang by seeing it, or rather the evidence of it. We've looked far out and seen the edge of the universe that lead to nothing.
Given the shape of the universe and those facts most of the scientific community have deiced there won't be a bounce back/death by fire. Rather its pretty established the universe will continue to expand till the energy runs out and then we will all freezes as the universe cools to absolute zero. Still considering we're accelerating we're a good way off from that.
Try this on for size.

The physics we know and what we classify "Explosions under" Falls under a Very different field.
We know explosions based upon chemical reactions, pressure reactions, And splitting atoms.
However, the "Big Bang" + "Multiverse theory" Completely blows these laws of physics an explosions out of the water, the current field of existence and what we know, Could be stretching, Could have more being added to (Not matter, but spacetime) it, Or in the essence of an explosion we are familiar with. Could be simply matter scattering out on a pre-existing area. Or hell. The explosion could still be going on, It could even be an open facet with more matter spewing out to us as we speak.
We honestly cant say with any of our technology, exactly how all of this happened. We dont have the ability to know if all of this timespace was previously here, If it is being generated like a factory from the center of the explosion, If it is being stretched out from a previously microscopic field. Or what. It could be anything.
Labeling something isn't understanding it unfortunately. We still have a long ways to go.Gaiaonline Exploit Log:

I don't believe in god, and people say I'm an Atheist fuck over it.
But seriously, god didn't make people, nor life. Back in like 5th grade they tell you how Earth began it's life, An asteroid hits it, water comes out of that thus making life. Life = plants, plants = oxygen, Oxygen = dinosaurs & shit, Dinosaurs & shit = Evolution.
I'm not saying we're them fucking Machamp pokemon 4 armed imbreeds. but it's the truth, how does everyone know there is someone above us controlling us like strings on a puppet, we're like rabbits, we are born to fuck and carry on the tradition until another big ass asteroid hits us and creates some new type of fucked up creature, who knows. I mean, if us humans have a god then does a cricket have a god? Does your dog have a god? We pray, but does your cat pray? Is Santa Claus actually real?
I do believe there is a Jesus but not a god. Saint Nick perhaps was giving, but the Cocacola company created him thus making people believe he was actually real. Like Jesus, he died for our sins but the bible made us think he's actually a god. When you die it'll be pitch black, you wont be bored or anything because you will be completely nothing, no ghosts no nothing. You won't even know that you're dead... because it's absolute blackness.
I'm not here to sit there and say he's fake, but seriously, what If i died on a cross for your sins? Will I have cool powers?

Not to go against you Chad, but I'm re-opening this for discussion and debate, because it's a good subject everyone has an opinion in.
To fix the spam problem, any spam here-on-out that isn't related to the subject or is just a stupidly offensive comment, will result in an infraction.☜(* x *)☞FOOL ON COOL GENERATION

“I don’t believe in chance, accidents or coincidences. I believe in the delusional self, which is to say that I believe that the things I talk and think about change the world around me and result in events that appear to be coincidental. I believe that my life is so important that it affects the lives of everyone else. I believe I am god. I believe everyone is their own god” - Marilyn Manson

I'm Agnostic, and I have many reasons why.
For those of you who don't exactly know what Agnostic means it basically means: I do not know and according too my opinion I think there is no way of knowing if there isn't or is a god of some sort.

I do not. The creation of all that is by means of something like the big bang is just as credible if not more credible than the creation of an omnipotent being with the power to create what he pleases.
The main argument of Christians is that 'someone had to make it'. But who made the maker?
But that being said I consider myself agnostic, because if there is proof there is proof, but I have yet to see any.
