So I've been doing some research on the actions and the existence of the mysterious Illuminati. I've learned a few new things and rediscovered a good many things.

My questions is what are your views on the Illuminati and their motives?

Pop culture says they want to have a world government that is founded in religious belief or just torture humanity or undermine religion. If there is a powerful group of them in existence then its just a name attached to a club of rich guys sitting around talking about how they can make more money. Most of them seem to be frats being stupid.

I understand what you are saying but there seems to be a lot of things going on lately that all have ties to Masonic symbols and people who are well known to the world having ties to the Illuminati. Even in the idea that it is just a pack of corporate fat rats, has a flaw, why not just come out?

However some things are odd and are kind of hard to explain, although any form of logic can show that its not likely, even impossible, and yet there is contradicting evidence that shows that it is likely. A lot of the information shown is that there is symbolism that shows that a great many of the major companies that control the world exhibit the "All-Seeing Eye." One of the major symbols in Freemasonry and the Illuminist organizations.

As for the reach of their power, who is to say that they don't hold more power then conspiracy theorists say they have.

The Illuminati was not exactly a group of scientists, they were a group of political and religious people following Judaic code, founded by Prof. Adam Weishaupt. One of Weishaupt's students was Karl Marx, and as is such most of the Illuminist ideals are what most would consider communist or Marxist.

Why on earth would you come out? If I don't have to tell you something why would I? Particularly if it'd upset you? A group of old men helping corrupt governments and drive policies towards their benefit at your expense, that's likely to cause problems.

I explain the symbolism away because the eye exists before either group and then was used in the US all over. There are twenty different means to most symbols. Symbols are a terrible thing to use to gauge membership in any thing because they often exist prior to the organization and as soon as someone uses it as the symbol relating to an organization people just start using it.

I say they can't have that power because the type of organization you need to have an Illuminati like you're talking about is massive. You'd be looking at something the scale and size of the entire governmental apparatus of the US including federal, state, and local. Then it'd need to be set up like the UN at least in the sense there'd be a major council, a inclusive less powerful one, and then a bureaucracy larger than any the world currently knows.
That last thing is why I can't believe there is a functioning global illuminati ruling the world. You'd need so much space and people to administer a world government it'd be impossible not to be noticed. Aside from that I'm a poli. sci. major. I study the behavior of states and government. The effects of a global government would be obvious. States act based on a balance of power and their own interests. Occasionally the cooperate but things they cooperate on only further their own ambitions.

Hollywood people believe in Scientology. Scientology, man the thing with gold jets and alien oversouls. I don't believe a word that comes out of their mouths. But please show me these quotes.

If the nature of the Illuminati isn't global governance then they aren't the Illuminati, they're a knock off. Its impossible though for any group to control what is said and done in the world. Democratic and civil servant elements of numerous governments would make it impossible to ensure control, lapse of control of any nation would be catastrophic as it would lead to uncovering of said society.

Functionally impossible is the same as impossible. You need to be able to hold that kind of rationalization together, get it in place, remain undetected, maintain control, ect. The resources, the man-power, and organization makes it completely impractical. Feasible if you started 500 years ago, were continually successful, and no one ever defected or talked then maybe you could have a power structure up but its maintenance at this point would be ridiculous. A large portion of the populations would have to be involved, it'd demand 24-7 commitment, people wouldn't be able trk real jobs and lead double lives just because of the time needed. The money funneled into it would create glaring deficits in numerous peoples', corporations, government, ect.

Even if they did exist, what's the point? What's the goal?
Everything I read is conflicted. Some times they are Marxist, sometimes they want unified global religion and government, sometimes they want the destruction of civilization, sometimes they want to destroy religion and instant science as the only belief system, sometimes they want to destroy all technology and science.
At some point you'd have to come forward with the world domination thing and people would riot, you might very well maintain control but you'd lose whole sections of the population as they fought against you.
