Honestly. Is this still happening around the internet. Sure it was cool maybe a year or so ago but now it's like what 's the fucking point. And people are still doing this.... as if it's a fad that could never grow old. Think about this. When you joined some website, or bought a new video game and decided to hop online, you were just the same as the noobs you continue to bash today. Unskilled, Non-Tactical and Ignorant[Game wise, some people were both dumb and ignorant.... there IS a difference.]
But back to my main point. Everyone does this. I myself used to do it. Now I just sit and wonder.... "What the hell is wrong with everyone."
And think back.... have you ever trolled some noob well, because he's a noob?
And then that same noob came back 3 weeks later strong as shit and owned you bad. Hell of a grudge match IMO. Just think about it. And maybe that spec of common sense will kick in......... [This is directed to those who wish to troll this post with those lame ass comments about "You're such a noob." etc etc.]

I've trolled some people hard but they actually turned out normal so i stopped. I would get mad when i'm on xbox live and some noob is no good at the game but i don't scream at them but i get mad.

So you've stopped to a certain degree. Mainly this was to see if anyone actually does this anymore. Really it's quite mundane and I tend to get it a lot, say when I join some new MMO or something. But I understand what you mean. I can get pretty frustrated and noobs myself, but I don't troll them anymore. Haven't for quite some time now actually.

I don't mind it though because if you know how to not feed the trolls then you are good. For example when i join new games i'm already used to trolls so i just get them mad, its not hard you just reverse what they are saying to you or just agree with what they are saying.

I camped a noob on mabinogi and danced around him when he was knocked out yelling your a noob~, but because he deserved it >_>
He was trolling my friend from real life, also he was bragging about skills he did not have. :>

I know what you mean. But I can sometimes find this process to be a bit ....... tiring. I mean boring in general, dealing with a troll. Especially a massive troll. The WoW type of troll.
Your everyday type of troll can be put to rest in no time but those buggers are just maddening.
Then yes, I suppose he deserved it. Trolling the troll. [In this case .....a noob troll]Last edited by Onikokiro; 29 Apr. 2011 at 01:59am.

There is a difference between newb and noob, and I though everyone knew that. Noobs are useless as most of them are set in their ways, there is often a discrepancy in this as some newbs are just clueless, and act trollish, but can be changed, it is those that are the unfortunate targets of rage and hate. A good flame usually fixes them though, and makes them come back and want to be better than that person.
A noob is unchanging and will incur only flaming and rage and hatred. That is what it is. And always will be.Voted Hottest Male Member

I know exactly what you mean.
Didn't really notice much of a difference. But you do bring up a good point.

There is always a method to the madness. Newbs will usually come back after they get flamed and have common sense about them. For example in 2oo7 when I first joined LG, I joined under the username Luxian. I had done all of the stupid newb things, flamed, and begged for stuff. But after being flamed by ~God~, Mr.Kitteh, and a few other people who eventually quit LG. I came back and had common sense about me, had Plobby change my name to ~Souleater~, and decided that I liked being on LG and stayed and became, as many had called me on LG 1.o the resident LG Legend.
A few others got angry at me for telling them to obey the rules when I first became staff and flamed me for verbally warning them, so I put the warnings and infractions on paper, and that caused them to flame me and me to flame them back. I banned them, and they just kept coming back and trolling me.
I was an example of a newb, and the others were examples of noobs. Look where I am now, and where they are. Nuff' said I think.Voted Hottest Male Member
