Who is it that you would want to run?
I personally would vote for Donald Trump. He knows what it takes to make money as he is billionaire with his own empire. Think of it, a billionaire as the President, whuldn't need public funding to run as he could support his own race for the Oval Office, and someone that feels that our foreign involvement in the markets of countries like China, India and Russia is drawing money away from our own country, and he wants to change that! Sounds like a pretty good candidate to me.

I'm in for Trump too. He's being stupid though with this birth certificate shit and such. It makes him a novelty. Trump can do the most good for the country simply because he can pay for his campaign and thus is not bought already. Any one that runs for president has been bought by corporate America and will never propose actual solutions to nay thing. Trump could propose any thing once elected because he has no party ties, no money ties, nothing. I don't think he'd even care about re-election. The key will be to not propose them till he's elected. If you call for tax increases across the board its political suicide but its also the only way we're getting out of this situation alive. I feel he's the only person that would even consider it. Obama will tax the middle class and any republican will try trickle down.
I like Huckabee still though he can't fix the economic issues we have. I also love freakin Ran Paul and Ron Paul, but America can't an won't elect a libertarian, Tea Party or otherwise.

A third party, libertarian or Tea Party member won't ever win, their ideals are too radical for the current general public, another day and age maybe but not in today's current socio-political climate.
And I think Ron Paul should not run for a year, and then maybe run one more time. Cause honestly lets face facts if he had a chance the other billion times he ran, he would have made it past the primaries.Voted Hottest Male Member

I don't know that their ideas are extreme. Libertarians can only win support from other libertarians. Tea partiers have no defining characteristic other than being on the right. Third parties are damned in our system from the start though you're right.
I have no hope of Ron winning I just like him.

If good intentions counted for any thing then any candidate wouldn't be a bought and sold piece of meat incapable of doing any thing to really improve America or its situation. If we lived in a democracy or a republic rather than a bureaucratic oligarchy our classic liberal ideas might mean something beyond rhetorical discussion.

I hate Donald Trump.
If he was my bitch I'd probably make him eat...cobwebs or something.
But you're right. He would be best in office due to his financial status.
But as a person? He's as good to me as my cigarettes are.☜(* x *)☞FOOL ON COOL GENERATION

Regaurdless of how you feel about him as a person, his stances on the current money situation within the country holds considerable weight. He is a billionaire and knows how to run a business and that is what the country has become, a business.
Whats better is no fundraising bullshit for him. He can fund his own election without having to ask the public for it's money. Something that is unheard of in a major party, let alone an election in general.Voted Hottest Male Member

Even though Trumps face looks like an orange asshole, i still want him to be the president because he know how to handle money.

I can't wait until Trump is president. I used to be incredibly liberal and passionate about issues. Now I think I just want to see how fucking terrible America is capable of being. If we're going to fuck everything up eventually, might as well just make a spectacle of it all.

I just can't get past the novelty of it honestly.
Also being good at business doesn't mean you'll be great at running a country.
I dunno I'm interested to see how this plays out though.
I'd like to wait to make any judgement until I find out more about what exactly he's purposing if in fact he becomes president.
Cause to be honest I haven't been keeping up with it.
Everyone in this thread makes some really great points though.
All hail kitty pig.
