The money you spend can be earned back. The time you spend can't.

The time you spend making money on your job can get you more uber loot than than the time you spend actually grinding for the uber loot. Just for working on minimum wage for a month can net you over $1000(before taxes). That's already a lot of whatever virtual cash you want.
