Do you just mix glue and water and then paint brush a square
in the book?
Sorry if this belongs in junkyard.

How do you make a hollow book?
- 26 Nov. 2009 02:37am #2
it's simple really, just take any old book (make sure you don't want to read it anymore), then glue all the pages together with some strong glue from back to front. Once it's dried, if you can, varnish the outer layer for some added strength. Mind you, you have to apply the glue only to the edges of the pages. Once the process is complete, just cut out a hole to your specifications as to how big you want it, and hey presto, there you have your hollow book.
Just a tip; if you don't feel comfortable cutting all the pages at once, you can cut them singly before gluing them together. :]Last edited by noob; 26 Nov. 2009 at 02:39am.

For all the stuff that happens around here, LG itself is always remarkably unchanged. Thanks to the folks who still remembered I was once here and welcomed me back despite me being retarded.

What do you mean glue them all together? Like, go through ever page and glue them together?

yes, that's exactly it. :]

Damn it. i stole some glue from a convenient store
and i already put it on the front page of my book, and
its not gonna work? Dammit :/
That would take forever though!

Oh, you don't have to do it specifically from back to front if you need it. Front to back works just as well, I just feel comfortable doing it backwards. Sure it does take forever, but sometimes you have to wait that long for these DIY projects.

You could just google it and buy one off Ebay or something, I'm sure you can find one. Otherwise yeah you have to glue together all the individual pages which isn't too much fun...

i dont use glue, i just take any book, according to the size you want, and trace out the size you want, and then cut with an exacto-blade. it will cut through anything, and it will be neat if you use a straight-edge. it looks magnificiant.
i leave the pages unglued so it looks more inconspicuous but the glue way works too.Voted Hottest Male Member

Oh, God. I did that in 11th grade or so. Took pics, so just your luck.
Just take a book and a knife. Cut out pages. You're done. Took forever, but I had a dull blade. Power saw would prolly work better. I didn't bother gluing pages or anything, 'cause I wanted it to look like it was a real book if I were to open it.
