That said, you cannot target weight loss. You lose weight in a pattern. That is, doing 5000 sit ups or doing 5000 push ups, doesn't matter. Either way, you'd lose the same fat deposit, wherever that fat deposit may be on your body. If you want to lose a specific area, just exercise and eat healthy until that area looks how you want it to. If you want muscle gain in that area (e.g. abs), then do exercise for that area; but as far as fat loss goes, don't expect crunches to be more effective than running.
Exercises which target your belly like reverse crunches works much better than abdominal exercises and the added running and cardio also helps. Also rather than fat burners you should drink green tea with honey and cinnamon powder. Tastes pretty good anyway.
