I don't really like this whole no-food thing, especially for a prolonged period of time. To me, that just seems unhealthy. Surely it can't be good for you if your body isn't getting the nutrients it needs. Plus, isn't 11 days a long detox period? In all honesty, I don't see how the very simple formula of proper portions of low fat food (lots of vegetables, chicken breast, fish, etc. no fast food/snacks, no alcohol/soda) and exercise could possibly fail. Whenever I speak of people who go on about how hard it is to lose weight, it's not hard to see why: they normally openly admit to eating bad food (and claim it's an emotional response, I just call it lack of will power), while they don't do any regular form of exercise.
Staying healthy is one of the easiest things in the world to do. The only reason the industry is so big (and there are so many theories out there), is because people are inherently lazy. Fix that, and you'll fix your weight problem.

The no-food thing is just a suggestion, by no means do you have to follow that section of the guide, you can skip to another section and work with that if you so wish.
According to all my training environments and experience, even someone not in the best shape can go with just water, drink packets, and extremely low amounts of caloric intake, and extreme loss in all nutrients for at least 11 days in at least 130 degree heat. I even did it while working out 3x a day at varying intensities.
The thought behind an 11 day detox is to get everything out of your body. Any shorter and your stomach doesn't shrink the amount that it needs to that forces you to eat smaller portions. Is this healthy? Not altogether the healthiest thing in the world, no, but it is effective. Once your stomach has shrunken and the toxins are out of your body, you stomach is smaller, forcing smaller portions and you feel better when you eat. And if you drink ice cold water before you eat, at least 8-12oz of it, your stomach will shrink more and you will be able to eat even less.
Low fat diets and exercise are the general answerto losing weight, but it takes a lot of time, and sometimes doesn't work because some people's bodies just dont work that way, and the results will take anywhere from 1.5-3x as long as the person that it does work for.
For people that bitch about losing weight, it's simply because they aren't serious about losing it or they dont have the self discipline to put the fork down.Voted Hottest Male Member
