We're all human, right? And I believe that vanity is a human nature, no? Everybody wants to attain that well carved body so they eat right and exercise. But not all people have enough motivation or will power to commit to exercise and proper eating so they use unorthodox ways to lose weight. Some take drugs, some don't eat, some regurgitate after a meal (used to be guilty of being bulimic) and some smoke a hundred pack of cancer sticks per day(also guilty of being a heavy smoker).
I am Q and I would like to share some of the things I am learning from studying physical therapy. I am bored so I decided to do all this. I really would not like to hinder you viewers to read a huge mass of text so I'll try my best to type down the most important details.
That's as far as I know. If you have any additions, you may share them.Do's and Don't's
Do not skip meals - Food helps your metabolism function properly. Do not skip a meal because you're depriving your body the energy it needs to function. Also, the moment you eat, your body would store many fat to be used later as energy lest you decide to starve yourself again. The body is clever and it never goes without a "backup plan."
Do not drown yourself in diet coke - Seriously. . Please don't.
Do drink plenty of water - Water has its share of putting your metabolism intrk.
Do eat some fruits but don't eat too much - While fruits also help improve metabolism, fruits also have a downside. Fruits have natural sugars called fructose. Too much fructose would eventually lead to heart complications and weight gain.
Do sleep for not less than eight hours - Our metabolism works surprisingly well whilst we sleep! Food actually is digested completely after twelve hours.
Do not be a bulimic - Self explanatory.

What do you know about carbs? I'm hearing a lot of talk that a low-carb high fat diet is actually healthier than a high-carb low fat diet.

Thanks, I'll definitely remember to not skip breakfast next time... I just skipped today's D:
But I have a question, what are some foods to make skin/heart/hair/etc. healthier? I mean instead of just for a toned body.

As far as skipping breakfast goes, eat your breakfast within 30 minutes of waking up - Do not sit in bed for hours (I am guilty of this) and do not get everything else ready before breakfast.
If you eat as soon as you wake up, your metabolism gets a bit of a kickstart... If you wait and then eat, your metabolism doesn't work as fast.
Q... As far as the sleeping thing, what about not sleeping at all? xD
Pulled an all nighter two nights ago because I had probably 800+mg of caffiene that day, which I know is not healthy, dont lecture me on that
Went all day yesterday without being tired at all (Except during a meeting, but that was boredom more than anything)LG's resident grammar nazi.
