Define fun. If you like to pvp then yes. If you're looking for questing, I'd suggest going elsewhere.
If you like games where you have to take time, brag, and fight, then yes, it is fun.
For a browser-based game, it doesn't get much better. Still there are better free MMOs out there. As an introduction to the genre, its also pretty good.
If you want a bunch of 12 year old level 20's telling you that you suck and fail at life, then yes, this might be your game.
Thats just my view though. if you dont plan to talk to anyone, then its alright.
Well, it's fun at first, but after awhile, it gets boring. Just like any other game.
yeah it is fun at first, buh its over populated by 12 yo old's spaming teh hell outa other ppl, curse'ing n lettin loose.
its not bad 1nce u hit lv 35+ i mean, at first all i did was get my Prof's up so i cld make money at first, seemed like a great way to go.
other than the above, its not half bad. quest's are aiight i mean, some fun, some quite difficult lol. if not the correct lv base at the time.
Ahh i think it depends on your type of 'fun' to me it's boring becuase i don't like how the graphics look. And I don't really the other stuff you have to do. I tried it once and gave up.
I think it's fun, when you have people to talk to, if your not the social type.. the grinding will be a challenge.

Runescape, like other MMORPGS, are different depending on what kind of gamer you are.
Runescape, unlike other MMORPGS, offers different gaming styles for everyone.
If you're not into PVP, you can train one of your other skills, such as woodcutting, mining, farming, smithing, fishing, and so on. There are many different skills, and quests you can complete, and if you become a member, there are more skills and quests, and the whole map is your to roam around on.
Id suggest playing F2P before you buy membership, but membership is very good.
It's a lovely game, and it's just getting better!
no it sucks.... graphics are terrible, gameplay is terrible and it's full of immature kids... of course if you're an immature child, this game is perfect for you...
I dunno, as I was told by a friend, it is worth it to play it again, but I don't know, maybe after the hype of MW2 is over, I will start playing it again, who knows.
But, before they took Pking out in January of 08(I think it was), Runescape was the greatest game known to man. xD

You could actually play this game while playing another game, its kinda fun, i guess. xD
They put in PKing worlds, which are pretty cool, i must admit, because you can hide behind trees and really close to animals and just blend in, then pop out on someone with your crystal bow and POW!
I like to kill the people who are woodcutting, good stuff.

Yeah, when you're skilling on things like fishing and woodcutting, you can have multiple pages open. I do that a lot because it's hard to pay attention to woodcutting when there is no one around you to talk to.Quote:

it gets extremely repetitive if you ask me but i played on it for a good 2 years before getting bored of it.
I started i 04, early 05. I still have some good times on it every not and then.
