I have made several hundred thousand by buying something in bulk at its lowest range, then selling at its highest range. Sometimes it doesnt work, depending on the inflation or deflation of the item.

I personally think the best way to make money is Decant Merching
I usually am making around 100k an hour 
If you dont know what it is, youtube it. I usually use Saradomin Brews but if you have enough money you can do prayer pots

My favorite is Runecrafting or Pie Making. Both make a good profit...pie making makes like 400k an hour or so..runecrafting not nearly as much but hey free runes
