I am seeing alot of threads where half the opinions are "Yes, I think __________ will happen" or "No, you are wrong" even though there is already a full discussion going on about that topic.
I think there should be a rule REQUIRING that you back up what you say in your posts. A yes or no does not help the person who created the topic at all.

People should be doing this anyway. There shouldn't have to be a rule that tells people not to be assholes.

i would go through anything. hardbody warrior. grr.
but i have to say that i support yhis view, however unless it is so far off post that its in left field and the discussion is in right field, its safe spam, and cant really be disciplined. however, warnings can be given for that, and i guess if that is what starts to happen, things might change.

Safe spam is far too common a problem in any topic. Most people just don't have the brains to discuss anything in a meaningful fashion. Or, they're just wiseacres who repackage the little they know into other 'new-seeming' inputs. Anyway, post history takes care of the problem pretty much.
Though the 'I agree 100000000%' bit can get on anyone's nerves after a time. If the mods see that someone's trying to safe spam their way into the restricted sections, so be it.My contributions:

For all the stuff that happens around here, LG itself is always remarkably unchanged. Thanks to the folks who still remembered I was once here and welcomed me back despite me being retarded.

This rule wouldn't really matter. Like BooBearSH said, no one would respect the rule. Second, why not just ignore the posts like that, I'm sure the admins already when considering a suggestion.

I do agree that users should support their posts, but there is no real way to require you to back up your posts... I mean we could have 12,000 Troll Mods checking the posts, but then comes chaos...
Its called 10 char... Making it "impossible" to just say yes / no...
Until :
( You should know posting like that outside of JY, translated to those with higher power as "Please Banhamma Me, I am a noob, who deserves to be banned." )Last edited by Eternal Darkness; 09 Apr. 2010 at 03:24am.

Yes I agree . . . ROFL.
I think those "Free post" guys are already being banned. Implementing this rule might be cool, but the point is, is it really needed? Cause anyways, such guys are gonna get banned in a few weeks or months. Then why care?

Yes.
You thought I forgot, xD
I say Yes because I can say yes, get a post count, leave and never really know what the topic was even about. ^^

If there was such rule, there should be a consequence for breaking the rule too right? If this is the case, a large number of people will be on "detention".
