Okay so I've read so damn many boring as hell threads that get to 20 posts before they are finally moved.
Suggestions:
THESE ARE EACH INDIVIDUAL SUGGESTIONS I AM NOT SAYING ALL SHOULD HAPPEN!
Comment on each or just all in general about this topic.
1. Rule stating that if someone has already stated that the thread is in the wrong section, you get infracted for spamming. As it should be anyways.
2. Repetition in general is against the rules. For instance, the ol' look at the new Gaya MC that just came out, five damn threads over it. No one gives a fuck. Again, repetition is against the rules.
3. Gentle warnings given to all the people in the thread repeating and original poster in order to get the point across.
4. Temp ban everyone off topic or posting about the wrong section AFTER the first person.
5. If you post wrong section AT ALL, infraction. Reporting is the way to go.
6. Insert your own possible suggestion.

This should have been a thing already.
2. Repetition in general is against the rules. For instance, the ol' look at the new Gaya MC that just came out, five damn threads over it. No one gives a fuck. Again, repetition is against the rules.
What would constitute "repetition"? 2 posts? 3 posts? This should be in the JY anyway.
3. Gentle warnings given to all the people in the thread repeating and original poster in order to get the point across.
Yeah. It's called an infraction.
4. Temp ban everyone off topic or posting about the wrong section AFTER the first person.
Alright, that's going overboard.
5. If you post wrong section AT ALL, infraction. Reporting is the way to go.
Yes.

1. I agree, but then everyone complains and gets butthurt. I dont do it.
2. Once again i agree. Done. threads will be merged and violaters will be WARNED, not infracted (necessarily).
3. Warnings are a go on that.
4. uh, cant really do that because there wouldnt be anyone on LG left really. i cant even warn even one person, or else it not fair. banning is for serious offences, and making multiple and stuff and thats just temp bans. permabans are for serious offences.
5. No. infractions are for rule breaking that are serious, and warnings are for minor offences. wrong section things can be easily moved.
6. free cookies for all.
yea, thats pretty much the answer.Voted Hottest Male Member

I think Boo's meaning on 5 is for that the TWENTY PEOPLE THAT POST "Wrong thread" EVERY TIME get infracted. After one person says it, it is fine. Besides, you shouldnt say it, you should report it.

this i realize, but its hard to infract so many people for the same thing, i mean, we could start doing it, but then we get called on abuse of power, and that is bullshit, so we just move it or lock it.
but i will give it a try to infract every post after it has been established that no further imput is needed, and it is reported.Voted Hottest Male Member

Don't you think it's funny that "abuse of power" is seen by people UNDER the power, not doing the work? What I suggest is this: If someone starts spamming on a thread, and it's off topic to begin with, move it to JY, lock it, post saying "If the creator wishes this thread be reopened go ahead in a new thread. However, if it gets to being spam again, this is what will happen, again."

yea ive noticed that only those without power notice abuse of it.
your suggestion sounds almost identicle to what i used to do with threads that got out of hand. i dont know if it would work in this new LG, but i think i will go with dolling out warnings to everyone under the sun that breaks the rules, and then infracting once it continues. moving threads to the JY works, but then its just pointless since the same thread is reposted within minutes of it getting moved.
I will give both a thought and do what i used to, warn/infract, move lock and move to the JY with a message saying that if they want the thread reopened, they must message a staff member asking for permission, the thread will be watched and if it happens again, infractions will be handed out, the thread will be relocked and sent to the JY.

I agree, even with the one about spamming offtopic. ^^
