If you are unfamiliar with xat, look it up.
Easy enough.
Place the chatbox's name in the text box, click go.
If the chatbox exists, it will load.
Otherwise it tells you it doesn't exist, and you'll need to put in a real chat.
Made because I hate having to open my web browser just to use a chatbox.
Released to the public because I felt that it could be used by everyone else as well.
View both Read-Me files before opening, contains information that you should know
Also, before I get fifty billion people saying that I'm not Forgivable,
Yes, I am. Kthx.

[Release] XatPortable

Finally! A release I can use!
Do you plan to enable a few extra features to the portable? I would love to see some homegrown features and functions.
Hell, If you have gone this far, Why dont you allow customizable GUI`s or other things?Gaiaonline Exploit Log:

If I continue working on it, I can add in different features, yes.
And as far as customisable GUIs, are you talking about changing what the chat itself looks like, or the program?
Because the chat's GUI is controlled from xat itself, and you can't change it normally as is.
However I might be able to take a look into doing it, though I highly doubt it would work.
And as for the program, ihavenoclue what you would mean by that.

Each xat as far as I am aware pulls its data from pre-defined images and such a user has picked.
But, I am talking a full client remake where the GUI is built by the user and customized by the user, Completely removing the old GUI and only having stuff like
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$
$$$$$$---------------------------------------$$$$$$$--Userlist----$
$$$$$$---------------------------------------$$$$$$$--------------$
$$$$$$---------------------------------------$$$$$$$--------------$
$$$$$$---------------------------------------$$$$$$$--------------$
$$$$$$---------------------------------------$$$$$$$--------------$
$$$$$$--------------------Chat--------------$$$$$$$--------------$
$$$$$$---------------------------------------$$$$$$$--------------$
$$$$$$---------------------------------------$$$$$$$--------------$
$$$$$$---------------------------------------$$$$$$$--------------$
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$
$$------------------------Type Shit Here----------------------------$
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$
You know, Similar to the GUI, but simply have 2 seperate boxes that pull the data from the chat, Right box has the userlist, Left with the chat, Input box at the bottom
Basicly, Recreating the entire GUI into a custom one that simply sends data to the chat itself to trick xat into thinking your just a normal user seeing it like everyone elseGaiaonline Exploit Log:

Hm. I'd have to take a look at the variables they use.
Do you mean actually making a whole new base, or changing the background, fonts, etc?
The whole GUI redo itself would, honestly, be against the terms of service, though it can be done.
Would take some time, yes, but it could be done.
I know where they store the information and whatnot, the main problem is getting the program to read it, as its usually stored in its own location.
There is something that I've been looking at for a while however, the Mobile version of xat.
It might be customisable, however it requires a login each time.

Currently working on integrating a few extra functions, should be completely finished in a week.
Note that by using the next version, you are breaking TOS, and can be banned.
Just saying.
Alsrking on a version that uses the mobile site for custom GUI.
Smilies won't work correctly with this one, as with avatars, however I might be able to rig something up to allow for custom smilies.
