Unlock this thread, the conversation was not over. You have to leave suggestion threads open for a while and get a majority of the user's opinion before you close it. If most of the site wants a feature than it needs to be enabled. Y'all either say "something is on the way" and never do anything or close the thread before anybody can leave their input. If the staff continues to ignore the user's opinion than the users are not happy, and that leads to users leaving and the site being dead. Just though I would warn you. Better safe than sorry.
thats generally why we ban accounts that have 0 posts, 0 iTraders, and 70k LG gold somehow, and the list of accounts that had 5k and sent it to them and then never posted after that initial 5k. but so far, it has never lied.
IP is not completely solid. IP spoofing is extremely easy. I could create a new account while spoofing somebody's IP and then bam. They get banned. So always look at other evidence before you just go and ban.
that way is just messy, IPs are solid. cookies are soggy.
The one I was using was tracking the cookies. But it would often mess up on reading the session id.
