It won't expire 2 days from the date.

If it has a small, sour, tangy taste to it that seems odd, then it's starting to expire.
Milk usually lasts about a month, so it shouldn't be expired; The worst that could happen if you drink some is you'd have diarhhea for the rest of the night, or an upset stomach. PPP:

The date on the box is usually when it has to be sold. Sometimes it will specifically say expires - otherwise it's the last day they can sell it. It's safe to drink for about a week after it expires. They have to shorten the expiration date just to be safe. If someone drinks it and gets sick before it 'officially' expires, they'd be risking a lawsuit, so they cut the days back to be safe.
