Sanctum groaned. It was 3am and he still hadn’t made it back into town. It wasn’t a good thing. He had one hour left to complete the job or he wouldn’t get paid. Worse of all, He stood up Kitsuya at the party. Not a good thing if you wanted a kiss. Sanctum raved the engine of the Harley as he sped down the freeway. The moon was bright as he went through the tunnel. A few more kilometers he’ll reach the mansion. Then his job will be complete. In the matter of minutes he reached the mansion. It looked modern for a century old building. Sanctum sighed. He doesn’t like his job much. But money is money and he needed it. He hopped of the Harley as he picked up the suitcase. The case was heavy as he walked up the hillside near the eastern side of the building. The job became easier now. The large windows of the mansion showed the ballroom. He sighed. The target was dancing with his wife. Great sanctum said as he opened the case. The insides of the case were padded as pieces of a 38. Caliber rifle laid there. Quickly and silently he pieced together the weapon. He took a deep breath as he slide the scope softly on the rear aperture He set himself on the prone position as he used the bi-pod near the muzzle. The cross hairs of the scope centered on the Man as he danced with his wife. Sanctum turned on the Microphone to listen into the conversation.
“You look beautiful tonight, I’m sorry I haven’t had the time to spend with you and the kids.” John kissed his wife on the forehead as he slowly danced with her.
“It’s okay. I know your work means a lot to you. I’m just happy to dance with you.” She blushed as she rested her head on his chest. “The moon is wonderful don’t you think, so pure.” She held close to him.
Sanctum sighed. He slowly pulled the trigger as the moon started to hide behind the clouds. The muzzle flashed as the night sky was filled with screams.
“Wake up!” Kitsuya yelled. She pushed Sanctum of the chair. He fell asleep again. “I swear, you need to get a life and stop working late into the night.” She laughed as she sat on top of his cluttered desk.
Sanctum groaned. He stood up and stretched as he yawned. His hair got messy as it stuck to his face, He picked up the comb on his desk and combed his hair back and made a pony tale. “Well I had to finish the files and storyline for the characters you know. Boss lady won’t leave me alone about. I swear she wants me gone.” Sanctum laughed as he sat back down.
“You know you can always transfer to my department.” Kitsuya said as she laughed. Her department was in charge of the main development and creation of the game. They were nicknamed God because they brought the game to life.
“I would like to, but then it’ll look like the boss in that department has a thing for me.” Sanctum smiled as he stood up. “Well its time for me to clock out. I have to meet up with my brother.” He picked up his trench coat and placed his laptop into his pack. “So will you come to the party tonight?” Kitsuya said as she looked at his desk. “You need to have some fun. You always look sad.” She started to clean up his desk. “I’ll try to make it. Odds are I’m going to get a email from the She-Beast about something I did wrong.” Sanctum smiled as he sneaked a kiss on her cheek as he ran off. He heard her yell that she was going to get him for that. He smiled. He went down the elevator as he headed towards the garage. The day went by quickly. Hopefully his 'Brother' didn’t have a job for him.
