It's always a surprise to see the site is still around. I want to try and get things back to how they were, but with months inbetween threads and posts, it's damn hard. We would need something to bring people in on a level that would create mass traffic. Either we need programs for more games, to crack a kernal for XB1 and/or PS4 or to find a legitimate secondary focus. I'm pretty sure having Gaia in our search metrics are destroying traffic to the site. I still remember almost 11 years ago when I first joined there was something like 100 new members a day and as many posts. Hell, the Logical Rangers was stickied and had something like 200k views before the huge site crash back in 2009/2010 and even the JY in general had 1M threads.

At this point, I don't know can save the site or at the very least bring in back to glory. If we can get someone who is really good with decoding stuff, and can get a kernal crack, we would be the only site on the internet with a cracked kernal for this gen's systems. That is a monopoly on that until someone else can figure it out and our traffic would explode. Just think of how many programmers would come here to help the site and use that crack to create programs like emulators or file editors, hell, even homebrew PS4/XB1 games. I've brought it up, but no one seems to give a shit. That one single thing would put LG back on the map. Forums aren't even dead anymore, hell look at Se7ensins. That place has loads of people posting constantly.
Just wish I could get people to want trk on that.Voted Hottest Male Member

What would that involve then realistically. I assuming we'd need to actually get some new people on the site before we could proceed with anything like that (I'm not sure what current members we have are capable of doing suck a thing). I wouldn't know the first thing about building something like that myself unless it involves building websites or graphics aha. Is it worth making some kind of donation pool and using the money to advertise in some way?
