Yeah. It originally reset, but I decided that was too dishearting to members who posted in the morning.
@Kain, I switched it to weekly average. Might do monthly in the future, but there are too many fluctuations with the restructure for monthly to be of any use. Hell, even a three day average might be more beneficial. But I'll leave it at a week to see how it does.
@Soul, like Ethan said, spam posts don't count. Neither do admin posts. Mod posts still count toward both the goal and the stats in the image. The stats were originally designed to determine how well the community interacted with each other (the real measurement of success), not how well the staff interacted. The post goal uses the same system. It rewards the community for what it does, not what staff do.
Mods are still members, as far as I'm concerned, regarding their interactions with the community. They don't have prompts for how to reply. They say what any member says and contribute any way any other member would. Admins, however, don't have such freedom or leniency, and at the same time spend a lot of posts saying what has to be said, in discussions they otherwise would not have taken part in. I don't think measuring these types of posts is indicative of a successful forum, so I exclude them from stats.
