Yeah, they should do this, I think it would be a really cool way to generate money for the server bills and let members/other websites advertise on here.

It depends. You're free to start a thread to show off something you made or what not. As long as it's not spam. If you're starting a discussion on it, like "How do you guys like my music?" or what-not. It's very context-specific.

I think it would be cool to have a few small, un-obtrusive user-created ads for on-forum services up near the top or at the bottom or something. After all, there's a lot of open white space everywhere, and it would promote buying and selling on our site. It would also be a way to pay for bills and giveaways and stuff if people paid for ads.
