Can we pay to post an ad on LG?
Yeah, they should do this, I think it would be a really cool way to generate money for the server bills and let members/other websites advertise on here.

Arti doesn't like the idea of ads, but member-driven ads may be different. If you PM me with the full details, we can bounce around ideas in the staff forums.
I think it would be cool to have a few small, un-obtrusive user-created ads for on-forum services up near the top or at the bottom or something. After all, there's a lot of open white space everywhere, and it would promote buying and selling on our site. It would also be a way to pay for bills and giveaways and stuff if people paid for ads.
