Or big enough to make webs that can actually deflect your head. One time there was a spider web (when i was about 12 years old) that made a web from one corridor to the other end, and it was like a single line, but it was like fucking wire. The web was so strong it rebounded my head. I was like WTF IS THEEES?

Wow. I never realized how spoiled some places are when it comes to insects. They are commonplace here. There are more spiders per room than you've probably ever seen in your life.
You get used to them. They don't fuck with humans. I think people afraid of spiders are silly. It's like being afraid of Jello. Just... why? The spiders that bite you are the spiders you don't see. I've never watched a spider bite me, and I've never watched a spider try to bite me.

I'm afraid of spiders because my house has a lot of black widows in the garage, so I naturally freak when I see any spider.

I was also just kidding about moving, it's not really a big deal, it was just kinda shitty to wake up and nearly walk into a spider that looked like it had crawled off a space ship (crab spider, which I didn't know at the time)

I stopped fearing them when I realized how easy they are to smash. Their natural fear reaction is to jump. If you try to step on them, they jump into your shoe instead of run away. Silly things.
