New domains

So, what do you think about the ICANN movement ? They launched the domains that can end with any word you want. Like www.site.anword
For now it's like 1k to buy it so amazon and all can take it before other users do. But the price will go down drastically for us to use : D

I think naturally it'll add more distinction and diversity to websites if this does happen. I personally support the idea.

There should be quite a few undertakings in the process of this though.

It's a lot more than 1k. It's like 100k or something, and you have to meet a huge range of criteria to apply for a TLD.

The only issue I have with it, is that it's only going to really benefit people/organisations with deep pockets, adding an additional discrepancy between small website owners and larger organisations.
