Networking Type People

I have my schools wifi password, i used to be able to use it on my tablet , however they have some sort of device filter. It does allow labtops on but blocks tablet and smart phones. I have tried android 4.0 and webos on my tablet it used trk and no longer works. Anyone know tricks on how to make an android or webos device apear as a labtop networlcaly.

What tablet? And It would be in your headers probably. Not sure how else they would know unless they can get your OS, then they would know.
