Networking Type People

I have my schools wifi password, i used to be able to use it on my tablet , however they have some sort of device filter. It does allow labtops on but blocks tablet and smart phones. I have tried android 4.0 and webos on my tablet it used to work and no longer works. Anyone know tricks on how to make an android or webos device apear as a labtop networlcaly.

What tablet? And It would be in your headers probably. Not sure how else they would know unless they can get your OS, then they would know.
