I demand a 48 measure bluesy/jazz solo over this.
(first four beats are a count off)
First 16 bars are a stable beat, next sixteen is a break/build, last sixteen is a more subdued, tension-y rhythm.
All of it has a light swing.
Tempo is 120.
(I swear to god if your bass to treble ratio isn't jazzy, I will rape you)
If you want to just record your guitar part and send it to me without any effects, I can master for you.

Will do. Might take a day or two, shouldn't I tend to be able to make something up quick. We'l see how I'm feeling. It'll be clean, I might run a compression or a solo pedal(not making it up I have a pedal that boost attack, sustain, and volume) to a. magnify the playing or b. to sound bigger.

4 measures Bb
4 measures Eb
4 measures Bb
2 measures Eb
2 measures F
Repeat.
In all reality, you could stick in the Blues Bb scale and it would come out the same.

Alright. I have two approaches for this.
The first is to do a bluesbreaker Mike Bloomsfield style blues lead where I fill the rhythm and melody. This method will take some time since I have to write a whole song and practice it up to speed.
The second is to let you fill the rhythm later with the bass and hope that my phrases sound good over it.
So next week I'll give you an update on the progress.

I vote second.
I can adapt the bass to you.

Does my noodling really sound that good to you that you want it on stuff?
But ok, I'll focus on that. I'm close on that a day or two tops and I should have the sounds in my head in digital form.
We're going to need distortion, maybe chorus, reverb is a must, we may even need delay and its all going to have to turn off and on based on where we are in the song.
The idea I'm working out slowly is very Jimmy Page with a few Slash-y runs, or at least I like to think they are.
After this is finished I have a projected I'd like your help with via FL Studio or whatever you use to make things.
I'm learning to play an instrumental Jeff Beck style version of "A Day In The Life"( why my guitar was in open G). I'll need a bass track, drums, and an two orchestral part(same thing you hear on the Beatles track basically.) I hope to also record it with a cover of "Hammerhead" which will require orchestrals. I haven't started "Hammerhead" but I have "A Day In The Life" down except for the middle part where Paul's vocals would be.
