If you want a more accurate comparison, try looking at Fairy Tail, which has large changes from Rave, I'm confident that if Rave were still serializing today it'd look a lot like Fairy Tail. Plus there's nothing wrong with a style change, sometimes it proves that one is gaining more mastery of drawing, you still have a long way to go Defy. :p
