People feel the need to defend purchases they made that subconsciously regret.
I understand where you're coming from Thomas, but cheap quality screws and whatever else excuse you made is a bit silly considering that it's more costwise to just build your own computer, where the price per power ratio is kickass and none of those aforementioned problems that you listed exist. Sadly you can't do that with mac based products.
