My girlfriend's laptop... decided to say fuck off...
It has an error of drdll.dll or some shit on startup. I don't remember exactly what it said, I can look if someone actually can help... It shows up on a blue screen with the error right there... AFTER windows XP loading screen(before login, of course)
Anyone who thinks they know or know how to fix the shit... PM me.
Thread will be closed/whatever when done...
I have CD RW's to write shit to, if it needs a installation disk. I can't get the son of a bitch to boot.
Windows XP btw...

Is this file a spyware, trojan, or virus?
The ntdll.dll file included with Microsoft Windows is not spyware, a trojan, or a virus. However, like any file on your computer it can become corrupted by a virus or trojan. antivirus programs can detect and clean this file if it has become infected. Because this file is part of Windows users should never delete or remove this file if they think it is infected, let the antivirus program handle it.

You're going to be hard pressed to find it not in a torrent, if you don't like utorrent you could aways try Vuze: The most powerful bittorrent app on earth..
I'm partial to Utorrent though.

This issue kind of happened to me.
What I had to do was reformat my computer by using the internal partition to reformat the computer. Since I have a desktop and your gf has a laptop, you might need the cd. But from the previous posts, the cd didn't boot I'm guessing... I believe you can try alt+F12 or some combination shown at the beginning to edit the system so that he cd is loaded first...When trading with me, you agree that: (updated 10/24/10)

Can you boot into safe mode on start up? (On every computer, it's different, some you press F12 while windows is starting up, some you press F8, some it's F9) Try pressing all of these keys repeatedly while windows starts and it will take you to the boot menu. Choose "Safe Mode with Networking" and log in. Then, start your antivirus there, scan, and try to find the problem. If nothing works, system restore in Safe Mode.
Otherwise, if you don't like torrents, get the boot disk from Warez-BB: Log in :: Warez-BB.org <----- This is a trusted user with over 198 pages of replies on his Windows XP Professional topic. There are 3 mirrors, all one-link downloads. Then, burn it to a DVD or CD using a program made for it, like PowerISO which can also be found on that forum. Note that you'll need to register an account to view the topic I linked you to.
Hope this helps, otherwise, I don't know what to tell you.
