I have recently found a great tutorial about creating your own iPod an iPhone apps using only HTML and CSS!

To find it: Just search "Building iPhone apps" on the app store and you'll find it. The tutorial is in the form of a book on the appstore. Its official name is "Building iPhone apps with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript"
